A Pub Share and Some Rejects!

Hola Sweet Friends!!

CC_for_Him_2013_Cover-400px

Thought I’d pop in again today (shocker!) and share a project that was published in the recent Paper Crafts Magazine special issue called Card Creations For Him!  Now, if you’re like me, you flat struggle with creating manly cards.  It kills me to walk away from a card and not be able to add a little bling or ribbon.  Heehee.  This call came at a super busy time for me (right smack dab in the middle of wedding planning and Gallery Idol!)  But I created a few for the call, and had one accepted.

Caution Birthday Fun

My project appears on Page 69, right next to my sweet friend Ashley’s uber cool card!  I loves me some shaped cards, and I was especially happy with my fun little construction cone card!  This special issue has some awesomely creative cards in it – so if you’re like me and struggle with manly cards, you so need to pick it up (or better yet, get it digitally so that you can look at it over and over again without storing it on your shelf!)  It’ll be the best $5.99 you’ve ever spent, I promise!!

ETA:  I just got word yesterday that Paper Crafts is now offering an Auto Ship option for their special issues!!  So, if you've ever found yourself driving from bookstore to bookstore looking for those special issues, THIS, my friends, is an amazing deal for you!  Think of the gas and stress you'll save yourself!!  There's even an Auto Ship option for my international friends!  You can get all of the information HERE.  I signed up - you should, too!  You're welcome!  LOL

Here are the other cards that I submitted that didn’t get picked up:

CCFH2013 Piano Man Love

Fun, right?!!  I feel like this would be great for that Bohemian artist guy in your life!  Here’s another one:

CCFH2013 R2D2 Birthday

Do you have a Star Wars geek in your life?!  I don’t, but I thought this would be fun for somebody that loves that stuff.  And last, but not least:

CCFH2013 Apple of My Eye

Another geek card . . . I must have had geek on the mind when I was creating these.  LOL  Clearly, my Cameo got a work out while creating for this call.  Like I said, I loves me some shaped cards!!

Well, kids, that’s it for me today!  Check back here tomorrow, as I’ll have some new Paper Smooches December release projects to share!  Until then, thanks so much for stopping by today!

Wow! First of all, can't possible see why all these crazy amazing cards weren't all published! Sheesh - what were those publishers thinking? :)

The Caution card really is off the charts creative!

Your cards are the exact reason why I bought my wee machine! Your creations have always inspired me - thanks!

Lovin' the apple card - clean, simple and sooooo 'yummy'!

Hey, loved your construction cone in the mag. And I love the apple card too. Surprised that didn't make it. As for R2D2, did you see the one in the mag. Guess he was a popular guy for that call.
