AEI♥U Challenge #5–Welcome Little One Color Combo!

Well hello, stampy friends!

Did you think I fell off the face of the earth?  Haven’t posted in a few days because I’m on vacation with my sweet family.  We’re having a great time in sunny Las Vegas, doing lots of fun touristy things and just hanging out with each other.  It’s so nice to all be in one place at the same time for some nice family time.  My heart is full.

Challenge 5

I wanted to pop in quickly between pool time and game night to share the next AEI♥U Challenge!  It’s an awesome color challenge that we hope you’ll be as inspired by as we were!  Here’s what I came up with:

Challenge 5 - Welcome Little One Color Challenge

Check out that bunny and little birdie - are they not the cutest things ever?!!  They’re both from the brand new stamp set from Avery Elle called Storybook.  It was hand drawn and designed by my cropping buddy and sweet friend, Heather Campbell!  It contains some of the sweetest little characters that you’ve ever seen.  It’s now officially my new favorite Avery Elle set, so prepare yourselves for seeing it here on my blog often!  The sweet bunny is hanging out in a bed full of flowers and leaves from the Laurels stamp set (and coordinating dies).  I used Sea Glass, Aquamarine, and Lemon Grass pigment ink to stamp the flowers and leaves.  The bunny was stamped using Sea Glass ink and the birdie was stamped using Aquamarine ink.  The sentiment is also from the Storybook set.  I am in love!  *sigh*

We’d love for you all to play along with the new AEI♥U Challenge!  If your project is chosen as the winner, you’ll win a free stamp set of your choice from Avery Elle!  BONUS!  You can find all of the details of the new challenge, as well as the linky tool for you to link up your entry, at the Avery Elle Challenge Blog!

Well, that’s it for me today, friends.  I’m headed back to the pool to hang out with my love bugs.  I’ll be back soon to share my final Paper Smooches projects.  Thanks so much for stopping by today – I am ever so grateful when you do!!

Lucky you (pun intended). Family, pool time, sun and slots....ah,life is great!

Fabulous card! Love the colors. Love the bunny's sweet wee blushing cheek! Truly made me feel like spring could be around the corner...once the snow banks melt!
