AEI♥U Challenge #8–Father’s Day/Masculine!

Well, hello friends!

Did you think that I fell off the face of the earth?!  LOL  I kind of feel like I did!!  After a whirlwind week of visitors and entertaining last week, we spent a day packing up our stuff, and driving another two days back to Seattle for the summer.  I’m finally somewhat settled and ready for our summer adventures to begin!  Let’s start with the next Avery Elle AEI♥U Challenge, shall we?

Challenge 8

Challenge 8 - Fathers Day

So, the newest AEI♥U Challenge is Father’s Day/Masculine!!  I’m so glad that this week’s challenge has forced me to be on top of things for the next holiday.  We are big baseball fans in our family, so I thought I’d try to create the “flavor” of baseball.  I used the long vine image from Happy Spring, shaped it into a half circle, inked it up with some Cherry pigment ink and stamped it off the edge of the image panel.  Fun, right?!!  I love it when stamps do double duty!!  I inked up one of the sentiments from The Man with some Sapphire ink and stamped it at the bottom of the image panel.  I’m pretty sure that one of my daughter’s will be stealing this from my stash to give to their dad – and I’m pretty sure he’ll love it.  My work here is done.  LOL

We’d love to see what you’re inspired to create in answer to the latest Avery Elle AEI♥U Challenge!  You’ll find all of the details of the challenge over at the Avery Elle AEI♥U Challenge Blog HERE.  Click on through to see what my sweet teammates have created for your viewing pleasure, as well – I know you’re going to be blown away!

That’s it for me today, friends.  I’ve got a busy weekend of organizing and getting more settled planned.  I’m hoping that you have some fun plans in store for your weekend, too!  Thanks so much for stopping by!
