Runway Inspired Challenge #62–Go With All Your Heart!

Hello lovely friends!

RIC62 Graphic

I’m still on Gramma duty (until Tuesday night) so I’ll be swift with my post – hopefully you won’t mind.  I’m dropping in to share the newest Runway Inspired Challenge.  I think you all know how much I love the fashion photos that Jen chooses for this challenge – this one was no exception.  In fact, it inspired me in so many ways!  I was in awe of the flying birds, the gorgeous navy blue color of the dress, and the color blocking in the back of the runway.  Here is my answer to the challenge:

RIC62 - Go With All Your Heart

Do you see how I translated the areas that I was inspired?  Those birds were created using a stencil and embossing paste.    The sentiment was stamped with VersaMark on the white and then again on the navy (using a Stamp-A-Ma-Jig) and then heat embossed with Metallic Blue and White embossing powders.  Pretty simple and straightforward.  I’ll list the products that I used below.

Please click on through to the Runway Inspired Challenge Blog to see what my amazingly talented teammates have created in response to this challenge – you are going to be blown away!  We’d love to see your take on this beautiful fashion piece, as well!

That’s it for me, friends!  Thanks so much for stopping by today.  I hope to get back into my craft room by Wednesday . . . I’m going through withdrawals now!  LOL

I love those embossed birds flying across the dark blue. That two color stamped sentiment is pretty amazing, too!
