The Cutting Edge Challenge #5–Celebrate Your Day!

Hello Again!

Sheesh – posting two days in a row!!  Something must be wrong with me!  Nawww . . . just another fun challenge to share!!

Isn’t this gorgeous?!  Our inspiration comes from Melania Deasy, and if I remember correctly, this was one of Melania’s winning projects for the Gallery Idol 2013 contest!  I ADORE those colors, as well as all of the “white space.”  Here’s what I created in answer to the challenge:

CEC5 - Celebrate Your Day

I stamped and die cut the flowers using a super fun set from Verve Stamps called Poppy Birthday.  The sentiment was stamped inside the negative die cut from some Sizzix dies that I’ve had forever.  The front panel was die cut using the Stitched Mats: Rectangles.  I’ve listed all of the products I used below.

You should totally click on through to the Cutting Edge Challenge Blog to see what my uber talented teammates have created for your inspiration.  You’ll also find the winners from last week’s challenge, the rules, as well as the linky tool for you to link up your answer to the challenge!  I can’t wait to see what you create!  You only have until Thursday, July 31st at 9:00 AM EDT to play along – so what the heck are you waiting for?!!  *wink*

I’m still having a fun weekend with my sisters.  I hope you’re enjoying your weekend!  Thanks so much for stopping by – it always makes my day!
