AEI♥U Challenge #18–Holiday!

Hello Again!!

It’s time for another AEI♥U Challenge, and this one is arriving at the perfect time for me to start getting my holiday cards made up!

Challenge 18

That’s right friends, we’re creating holiday cards for the next challenge!!  I created a project that I think can pretty easily be mass produced, which is what I’m all about – easy and mass produced!  LOL

11-7-14 Noel

This project features the new Avery Elle stamp set called Noel.  Here are the steps to create it:

  • Trim A2, top-fold card base from Pure White cardstock; trim red and white striped designer paper to fit the card front and adhere.
  • Die cut front image panel from Pure White cardstock using the Dotted Elle-Ments die.
  • Stamp wreath using the branch from the Noel stamp set and Celery ink; stamp berries from Fabulous Florals stamp set using Cherry ink.
  • Stamp sentiment from Noel stamp set in VersaMark and heat emboss with red embossing powder.
  • Using a piercing tool, poke a hole at the top of the wreath, thread baker’s twine through the hole, and tie into a bow.  Apply Crystal Effects to berries to give them dimension and shine.
  • Adhere front panel to card base using foam tape.

A holiday card in six easy steps – PERFECT!!  Please click on through to the AEI♥U Challenge Blog to see what my other sweet teammates have created for your inspiration!  You’ll also find the rules and regulations of the challenge, as well as the linky tool for you to upload YOUR answer to the challenge!  Oh, and if I haven’t mentioned it before, TWO $25 Avery Elle Gift Certiciates will be awarded to the two top vote getters!!  So what the heck are you waiting for?!!

That’s it for me tonight friends.  We’re still caring for our two young grandsons.  Sadly, our newborn granddaughter had a bit of a set back and is back in the hospital.  But she’s improving every day, so we’re hopeful that she and my daughter and son-in-law will be home very soon.  In the meantime, we’re having a great time with our two little love bugs.  Thanks so much for stopping by – I so love having visitors!!

This is so pretty...and you really do make it sound so easy to make! I love the glossy accents on the holly berries!

Nice to hear that the wee one is gaining ground! She must be a tough little cookie!
