Runway Inspired Challenge #76–Thanks!

Hola peeps!

It’s time for the next Runway Inspired Challenge, and I really think you’re gonna love this one!

RIC76 Graphic
Isn’t it fabulous?!!  I was enthralled with the  “scene” on the jacket lapel and handbag.  As is my usual direction, I focused in on the cherry blossom and made that the focal image.  Here’s my full take on the inspiration:

RIC76 - Thanks

So I used a technique that I learned in one of the Online Card Classes that I took last summer.  It was a technique shared by our fearless Runway Inspired Challenge leader, Jen Rzasa, where you deboss an image using stacked die cuts, and then stamp the coordinating image inside the debossed area.  Such a fun and cool technique!  I’d be happy to share more detail of how I created this project – if you’re interested, please leave me a comment below, and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can!  I’ve provided a list of the products that I used below!

Please click on through to the Runway Inspired Challenge Blog to see the other amazing projects that my sweet teammates created using the challenge inspiration.  You’re going to be amazed!  You’ll also find the rules of the Challenge, as well as the linky tool for you to link up YOUR take on the challenge!  Oh, and there’s a sweet prize up for grabs for our AMAZEBALLS sponsor, Ellen Hutson!!  Thanks, Ellen!

That’s it for me today, sweet friends!  I’d also like to mention that I’ll be offering up a little give away on my blog tomorrow, so I hope you’ll stop in to check it out – I promise you won’t be disappointed!

I love your card, and love this technique! In fact, I tried to pin it on Pinterest, but all of the links to your project photos are broken. Has anyone else had this problem with your Blog? I tried using both Firefox and Safari—both showed broken links. Perhaps you don't want people to pin your projects? Just curious...
