My Favorite Things–Birthday Centerpieces!

Happy Tuesday, sweet friends!!

KKL_JUL2815

I’m back today to share a project that I created using the newly released Birthday Centerpieces Die-Namic from My Favorite Things!  It’s a die that is awesome as a stand-alone die – nothing else is really required to be the star of the show!  I decided to use it to make a fun little shaker card!  Here’s how I did it!

  1. Trim an A2 top-folding card base from Razzle Berry cardstock.  Score at 5.5”, fold and perfect crease with teflon bone folder.
  2. Trim an A2 panel from Smooth White cardstock; die cut Birthday Centerpieces Die-Namic from the center of the panel.
  3. Using the stitched rectangle from Blueprints 15 Die-Namics, die cut the outside edge of the image panel.
  4. Mask off the outside circle and the inside circle with Stamping Mask Paper; using a Mini Ink Blending tool, blend Razzle Berry and Lemon Drop Premium Dye Inks to color the letters; carefully remove the masks.
  5. Trim a piece of acetate to fit behind the opening on the image panel; adhere it to the back of the panel.
  6. Wrap pink and yellow baker’s twine around the top of the image panel and tie into a bow.
  7. On the back of the image panel, adhere foam tape around the outside circle and the inside circle (two layers stacked).  Sprinkle Sweetheart, Marigold, and Sparkling Clear Sequins, as well as some Silver Shimmer Sead Beads inside the wells created by the foam tape.  Remove the release liner from the foam tape, add additional foam squares to the back of the image panel,  and careful adhere it to the card base.

There ya have it!!  Easy and fun – it’s amazing what one die can do, right?!  I’ve listed all of the products that I used below.

Thanks so much for stopping by today, friends!  I’ll be hanging out with my grandsons today, but I’ll be back soon – I promise!!  Have a great day!!
