My Favorite Things–September New Product Launch!

Hello my people!!

Print

I am so excited to be sharing a project that I created with some of the newly released My Favorite Things products!!

KKL_SEP0115NewProductLaunch1

Soooo, if you all know me at all, or have hung around my blog for any amount of time, you probably know that I am a SUCKER for cityscapes.  Like they make me happy beyond your imagination!!  So when I saw that this month’s My Favorite Things release included THREE different cityscapes, I nearly fainted!!  LOL  Well, maybe that’s a bit of an exaggeration.  But I was really excited!!  I decided to create a holiday card, using a super simple fold that adds some fun dimension and interactive pizzazz!!  The above picture is what the card looks like closed, and here’s what it looks like completely opened up:

KKL_SEP0115NewProductLaunch

Fun, right?!!  I stamped the Steel Blue card base with the Snowfall Background Stamp using Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink.  I die cut the New York Skyline Die-Namic from Black Licorice Cardstock so that it cut across the 5.5” panel.  I scored the card base at 2 1/8” and 4 1/4” and perfected the creases with my teflon bone folder.  I did the same thing with the cityscape die cut, and then adhered it to the card base.  I die cut two banners from some Red Hot Cardstock using the Pierced Fishtail Flags Die-Namics.  I stamped the sentiment from the Merry Messages Stamp Set using Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink, and heat embossed it with White Embossing Powder.  I assembled the card so that when it closes, the left side of the sentiment laps over the top of the right sentiment banner.  It took a bit of engineering, but I am sooo happy with the end result!  I’ve listed the products that I used below.

Please click on through to the My Favorite Things Blog to be linked to the other beautiful creations that my talented teammates have created for you!  And by all means, please click on the banner below because all of the new products are available in the My Favorite Things Shop NOW!

That’s it for me today, friends!!  I’m so happy that you take the time to drop by my blog – and I hope you’ll check out the new release!  It’s amazing, I tell ya!  I’ll be back soon with another project to share, so I hope you’ll drop by again soon!!  TTFN!!

Love this card.
It's something you can put out to display - it won't be folded up and stuck in with a stack of other cards.
the background is so pretty. The winter snow is great.
