Avery Elle–Christmas Florals & Classic Bag Elle-Ments!

Happy Fri-YAY!!

Man, did this week fly by or what?!!  My week has been ca-RAZY!!  And I just have to keep reminding myself, “Just keep swimming . . . just keep swimming!”  LOL  I wanted to pop in quickly to share another project that I created using products from the Avery Elle Fall 2015 Release!

How cute is that little bag and tag?  This project features the Christmas Florals Stamp Set, the Christmas Florals Elle-Ments, and the Classic Bag Elle-Ments!  Honestly, this is the perfect size to enclose a small little gift, a gift card, or to have at each place setting for your holiday table (enclosing a special trinket or candy!)  It came together way easy!!  Here’s how I created it!

  1. Trim a 12” x 12” piece of patterned paper to 6” x 12”; die cut the Classic Bag Elle-Ment once from each piece of patterned paper.  Apply adhesive to the tabs of the bag, fold at the provided score lines, and adhere the two pieces together to assemble the gift bag.
  2. Fold a paper doily in half and attach it to the bag using a Tiny Attacher.
  3. Stamp the poinsettias and greenery from the Christmas Florals Stamp Set onto a scrap of Solar White Card Stock using Cherry, Lemon Grass, Jungle and Mimosa Pigment Inks.  Die cut the images using the Christmas Florals Elle-Ments.
  4. Die cut a tag from New Moon Card Stock using the Gift Tags Elle-Ments.  Stamp the sentiment from the Christmas Florals Stamp Set using VersaMark, and heat emboss it with White Embossing Powder.  Adhere the poinsettias and greenery to the tag with foam squares.  Thread red satin ribbon through the hole of the tag and secure it to the tag with a jute twine bow.  Attach the assembled tag to the gift bag with a white clothespin.

This seriously could not have come together more easily!!  How great would it be to create a bunch of these and use up some of your older holiday scrapbook paper that you’ve been hoarding?!  (Come on -  admit it – you’ve got a ton of older holiday scrapbook paper stored somewhere in your craft space, right?!  LOL)  Heck – this would even be super easy to create little favor bags for a wedding or birthday party!  At any rate, this darling little bag and tag were a breeze to create – I hope you’ll give it a try yourself!  I’ve listed all of the products that I used below.  Oh and I’d love for  you to click on through to the Avery Elle Design Blog for more yummy inspiration!

That’s it for me today, friends!  I’ll be holed up in my craft room all weekend if you need me!  LOL  Thanks so much for stopping by!  I sure do appreciate it!! Have a great weekend!

Love your gift (treat) bag. The added doily is really neat. Colors and design awesome.
