My Favorite Things–Hello Beautiful!

Happy Monday!!  I had a very productive weekend in my craft room!  I’m making great headway on my July deadlines, and that just makes me happy! More time to play with my cute grandkids!!  I wanted to pop in today to share a project that I created using some fun My Favorite Things products!

I am in LOVE with the new Bundles of Blossoms Background!  It’s seriously like having your own Adult Coloring Book that you can stamp and color over and over!  And it’s so versatile for all styles!  I’m a Clean and Simple Girl, so I minimized the pattern here – just a little peek of fun color and design!  Here’s how I created the project:

  1. Trim an A2, horizontal top-folding card base from Sweet Tooth Card StockScore at 4.25”, fold in half and perfect the crease with a Teflon Bone Folder.
  2. Stamp the Bundles of Blossoms Background onto the front of the card base using Black Licorice Hybrid Ink.
  3. Color some of the flowers and leaves of the stamped background with Copic Markers.
  4. Trim an A2 panel of Black Licorice Card Stock.  Die cut the top portion of the panel using the Hello Beautiful Die-Namics.  Adhere the die cut panel to the card base with foam tape.
  5. Die cut the word “beautiful” from Sweet Tooth Card Stock three times, and once from Silver Sparkle Card Stock, all using the Hello Beautiful Die-Namics.  Adhere the layers together with liquid adhesive, making sure to place the Silver Sparkle layer on top.  Adhere the layered die cut word to the black panel with more liquid adhesive.

This card couldn’t be more simple – great for mass producing!  I plan to stamp the Bundles of Blossoms Background onto multiple white panels and color them while I’m watching TV – good times!  LOL  I’ve listed all of the products that I used below.

That’s it for me, friends!  Thanks so much for spending part of your Monday here with me!  I’ll be back soon with more crafty goodness!!  Until then, have a great day!!

Playing with wee grand babies trumps card making hands down! Now...if only I had human grandbabies...other than those that have fur and meow and bark....I'd be smilin'

Awesome 'zentangle' looking background. Love how you left part uncolored! Love the sparkly, bold beautiful!
