My Favorite Things–Release Replay!

Hello stampy friends!!!

Print

It’s My Favorite Things Release Replay time!  The peeps on the MFT Design Team are sharing projects featuring fresh takes on last week’s New Release!  I was excited for the chance to ink up the new Sow Much Cuteness Stamp Set to create a birthday card for my 5-year old grandson, Brenner!

Today’s project is pretty straight forward!  I stamped and die cut that adorable prancing piglet from the Sow Much Cuteness Stamp Set, colored him with Copic Markers and die cut him using the coordinating Sow Much Cuteness Die-Namics.  The sentiment is also from the Sow Much Cuteness Stamp Set, and it was stamped using Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink onto some Limelight Card Stock, heat embossed with White Detail Embossing Powder, and die cut using the Stitched Sentiment Strips.  The main image panel was die cut from Smooth White Card Stock using the stitched rectangle from the Blueprints 15 Die-Namics.  A piece of Stamping Mask Paper was die cut using the same die as the image panel, and then again using a Stitched Rectangle Die-Namic.  The mask was adhered to the image panel, and some Tumbled Glass Distress Ink was lightly blended over a cloud stencil created by die cutting some Acetate and the Stitched Cloud Edges.  The grass was created by lightly blending some Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn Distress Inks towards the bottom of the mask opening.  Before I removed the mask, I reinserted the Stitched Rectangle Die-Namic back into the mask opening, and embossed the stitched detail into the image panel using an Embossing Pad.  I think the rest is pretty self-explanatory.  I’ve listed and linked all of the products that I used below, for your convenience.

Please click on through to the My Favorite Things Challenge Blog to be linked to the other fabulous projects that my teammates have created for your inspiration using this month’s New Release!

That’s it for me today!  I’m off to run some errands and then head back to my craft room!  I hope that you have a lovely day today, and want to thank you for stopping by!  It always makes my day when you do!

Love the card, especially how the focal panel on front is off center.
