I’m back today to share two projects that I created for Countdown Day 5 of the My Favorite Things July Release!! The new products being shared today will be available for purchase on Tuesday, July 11th at 9:00 PM!! My projects feature the new Celebrate Speech Bubble Die-Namics and the Essential Fishtail Sentiment Strip Die-Namics – two ways!
So, the Celebrate Speech Bubble Die-Namic is a large die, which pretty much means it takes center stage!! It’s bold and graphic, and can be utilized in so many ways! The other thing that’s amazing about it is that you can get two cards from one die cut! BONUS!! In my first example, I blended Picked Raspberry, Peacock Feathers, and Mustard Seed Distress Inks onto some Smooth White Card Stock to create an awesomely bold and bright color palette all over the speech bubble die cut. I popped out the letters and mounted the die cut onto a Black Licorice card base that I splattered with watered down Gesso. I stamped a sentiment from More Essential Sentiments Stamp Set onto one of the Essential Fishtail Sentiment Strip Die-Namics die cuts using Black Licorice Hybrid Ink and mounted that on top of the speech bubble die cut. Easy peasy!
In my second sample, I used the die cut letters from my previously ink blended Celebrate Speech Bubble Die-Namic, and inlaid the letters into another Smooth White speech bubble die cut. Once I mounted the speech bubble die cut onto a Smooth White card base, I dressed it up with another sentiment from the More Essential Sentiments Stamp Set stamped in Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink onto some Black Licorice Card Stock, and die cut using the Essential Fishtail Sentiment Strip Die-Namics. I added some Sparkling Clear Sequins with some Multi Matte Medium and tied some black and white baker’s twine around the top of the card base. I’m telling you, this Celebrate Speech Bubble Die-Namic is super versatile!
