My Favorite Things–Stitched With Love!

Hello my friends!!

MFT_StitchedWLove_Sq

I’m popping in today to share some super fun cross stitched tags for Valentine’s Day!  A few of my peeps on the MFT Design Team and I are showing you ways to use the Cross-Stitch Tag Die-Namics for occasions other than Christmas!  And I should mention, as I’m sure you all won’t be too surprised to learn, that I broke the rules a bit.  We were challenged to use some of the new patterns created by the brilliant minds behind the MFT brand.  I actually “missed” that part of the challenge instructions (one of these days I’ll actually learn to read ALL of the instructions! LOL)  So I created my own patterns!!

I loooooove a good pun!  And Valentine’s Day is the PERFECT occasion to exploit that love!  I actually tried to find some cute Valentine’s Day gifts to attach these tags to for purposes of demonstrating how cute they’ll look, but surprisingly, none of my local stores had anything on the shelves yet!  Seriously? They have Christmas decor out in July, and they can’t put Valentine’s Day candy out by early January?!! Oh well.  I’m sure you can visualize how cute these will look attached to something delicious or fun for the ones you love.  I used the Cross-Stitch Tag Die-Namics for the tags, and created my own cross-stitch patterns using the printable grid that you can find and print yourself HERE.  The sentiments were pulled from three different stamp sets to suit the image stitched.  And the little glossy hearts were die-cut from Poppy Card Stock using the Tag Builder Blueprints 5 Die-Namics.  I’ve listed and linked all of the products that I used below.  I’ve also created a PDF of the patterns I created for your ease in duplicating them, if you’d like!

Please click on through to the MFT Design Blog to be linked to the other darling projects that my genius teammates have created using the Cross-Stitch Tag Die-Namics and the newest Valentine’s Day patterns!  I hope you’ll give one or some of them a try!

That’s it for me today, friends!  I’ll be back again tomorrow with more crafty goodness.  Thanks so much for stopping by!  I hope your day is as blessed as mine is when you spend some of it here with me!

Thank so much for doing this! As a beekeeper, I love all things bees, especially when I can use it in my crafting projects. You are awesome...

I wondered how your hearts look dimensional? Did you use something over them to make them shiny? And what weight of cardstock do you use? Thank you!
