It's Pep Rally week and we are here today to share a sampling of the Paper Smooches October release with you! FOUR new stamps and EIGHT new dies will be available to purchase at 12:01AM (EDT) on October 1st. You will find them HERE.
To add extra fun to our blog hop...we are offering up a prize!
The way we choose our winners and the prize has changed:
- FOUR winners will be chosen at RANDOM from any of the design team blogs and the PS Blog.
- The prize - a $25 gift code to choose what you like at the PS online store.
- Just leave a comment on any of the eight design team blogs listed below or the PS Blog for your chance to win! (You do not need to comment on all blogs to qualify!)
- You have until midnight MDT on Sunday, September 29th to leave a comment.
- Please check the Paper Smooches blog on Monday, September 30th to see if you are one of the FOUR lucky winners.
The perks to our change:
- You will have more time to comment.
- You can choose dies as a part of your prize (or anything else in our store, of course).
- You don't have to check all eight blogs to see if you won, you just need to check the PS blog.
Good luck ;)

My project features the new stamp set called Merry Motifs. It’s a set full of super sweet images that will be great for all kinds of holiday projects. I decided that I wanted to make some holiday-themed magnets. I picked up all of the materials at my local craft store, and they came together really easily! I feel like these would be a great for a holiday gift exchange, or maybe a gift for your child’s teacher.
Here’s another view. I heat embossed each of the images onto card stock and used a 1-1/8” circle punch to punch them out. I adhered them to the bottom of the glass gems with Crystal Effects and let them dry overnight. Then I adhered a strong magnet to the bottom of the gems and allowed those to dry overnight, as well.
What’s fun is that when you glue the stamped and embossed images to the bottom of the glass gems, the images are magnified and look three dimensional.
Here are all six of the magnets inside a metal tin that I decorated. The top was decorated with washi tape, and strips of holiday DP were adhered to the sides of the tin. I also adhered a green sheet of DP to the inside, rounding the corners so that it fit inside snuggly. I cut a strip of red cardstock embellished with washi tape and scored it so that the sides would wrap around the box, and taped the backside. Ribbon was wrapped around the band and tied into a bow, and a star tag was die cut and tied to the band with silver cord. I actually used three different stamp sets to complete this project – Merry Motifs, Giddy Gumdrops and Enchanted Elves. All will be released on October 1st!
That’s it for me today, friends! I’m finally here in AZ, but will be heading to Las Vegas for a couple of days. After that, my life should get back to normal . . . at least I hope it will! LOL Thanks so much for stopping in today! Have a great weekend!
