Runway Inspired Challenge #53–Thanks!

 

Hello friends!

 

 

Popping in quickly to share my take on the latest Runway Inspired Challenge.  This week’s challenge graphic just blew me away.  I am in awe of that jewel toned orchid color, with the pops of black, gold and turquoise.  As is usual with me, I wanted to keep it as simple as possible.  Here’s what I came up with:

I went to town with my Silhouette Cameo, die cutting the flower image in several different layers out of several different cardstocks.  I thought the shimmery purple paper was reminiscent of the sheen on the taffeta of the dress.
