I created some super fun projects with these new stamps and dies, and I can’t wait to share them with you!!
First up is a project I created using the Cozy Christmas stamp set and complementary Home & Hearth Dies. I also did a short video on doing the Partial Die Cutting Technique to create your own DIY Border die cut. WARNING: This is only my second video that I’ve ever done in my life, and I have a long ways to go before I have this thing mastered. So please, please be kind to me. Here’s the project, and the video follows (the video only shows the partial die cut process, not the entire assembly of the card):
For my next project, I made some wine glass charms using some Shrink Plastic and the Twelve Days Stamp Set. Oh my gosh, these were so fun to make! I wanted them to have a little color, so I stamped them in Staz-On onto the Shrink Plastic, and then I colored the back of the images so that the Staz-On wouldn’t ruin my markers, before I applied heat to shrink them up. So much fun!
I created the box for the Wine Glass Charms using my Cameo. The tag on the box features a sentiment and holly leaves from the Merry and Bright stamp set. I thought this would be a super cute hostess gift for a holiday party! Right?!
My next project features the Christmas Scribbles stamp set. There are an awesome array of “scribbled” images and sentiments in this set. I focused on the branch and the pine cones. This project also features the Brush Stroke Peace Die and the Brushstroke Christmas stamp set.
The next project features the Brushstroke Love die, the Christmas Scribble stamp set, the Merry and Bright stamp set, and the Brushtroke Christmas stamp set (I did a bit of stamp surgery to create the sentiment – HA!)
My final project was created using the uber fun and clever Zipper Panel die! It also features the Laurel die and the Prize Stag die, as well as one of the dies from the Merry and Bright die set.
Here’s what the inside looks like when you “zip” it open (PLEASE NOTE that I used another vendor’s die to create the slits for the “gift card”)! This thing has so many POSSIBILITIES!!
Okay, you all have been such troopers in sticking with me here, so I wanted to give something back!! First of all, Ellen and Julie have very kindly offered up one of the stamp sets that I used in my projects.
