I’m so excited to announce that I’m guest posting over at the Ellen Hutson, LLC CLASSroom today, and I’m sharing a super fun card that features a unique and easy flap fold!  Here’s a little sneak to whet your appetite:

    You're right it is a fun card and different from the standard A2. Your little glossy frame is perfect surrounding the gorgeously blended flower and leaves. I will definitely try this.

    I love this cool fold and it looks pretty easy to make, too. The rose and leaves are gorgeous and that black frame just sets them off perfectly.

    Thank you for the great video showing this different fold for an A2 format. I really enjoyed the little tips sprinkled in, such as the blending of the inks for your diecuts and the clear embossing of patterned paper.

    Karolyn what a wonderful idea! I never thought about using Versamark on dsp and then coating and heat embossing with clear embossing powder. I will have to give it a try. Love your video and how you put the card together.

    You absolutely made my day too with this video. I have some dies that would look great if I colored my own paper as you did to cut them. I also like how you put that square as a diamond to create the opening and the finishing touches you put on it. Thanks.

    This is such a cute and clever card. I didn't have the stitched frames so had to improvise a bit, but they turned out pretty well. Somehow my glue and embossing powder didn't work well together on the frame. Love the vibrant colors with the black and white. Thanks so much for the excellent video!

    Thanks for this fabulous step by step, Karolyn! You card is beautiful with the shine from the embossing and the enamel dots provide that extra movement! Love the ink blended and die cut elements! Great engineering for the card fold :)

    Karolyn, your card is very striking and your video very informative. I love the fold and how you incorporated your focal image.i learned so many tips from you tonight...didn't realize the VersaFine ink could be heat embossed.
