A New Stamp Company–and a Giveaway!!


Hola peeps!!

Please read all the way through this post, as I have an awesome give away at the bottom!

I’m back today to share a couple of projects that I created with some product that I received from a new stamp company called Concord & 9th!  I had seen a few projects out in blog land featuring this new product and was immediately intrigued.  To my delight, I received a lovely invitation from Angie, one of the owners of Concord & 9th, to try out some of their product!  And I was beyond inspired with what arrived in my mail box a few days later.  Here’s what I created!

My first project features an amazing sentiment set called Being Classy.  I fell in love with this stamp set as soon as I saw those amazing bold words!!  This is definitely going to the front of my fave sentiment stamp sets as there are so many cool options and combos for card sentiments.  The rainbow stripes were created with a stamp from the Painted Thanks Stamp Set, and the scalloped edge on the upper white panel was created with a super cool and versatile die set called Bags & Tags.  Again, VERY versatile!!

So, this project made me absolutely giddy when I finished it!  I knew that I wanted to try foiling that amazing sentiment from the Painted Thanks Stamp Set.  To my great delight, it worked!!  I stamped the sentiment using VersaMark onto the white panel as well as the polka dot panel and heat embossed it with some Sticky Embossing Powder from Ranger.  I then ran both panels through my MINC Machine using the Heidi Swapp Gold Foil.  Aaaackkkk!!  I seriously feel like this stamp set has so many incredible possibilities – and I can’t wait to  try them!  I’ve listed all of the products that I used below.

    I must say I Love love love the colorful You're so thoughtful card. Love the size of the stamps and your use of all those colors and the sequins is wonderful. The Thank you card is very nice...clean and simple but the sentiment with the touch of gold foil adds just enough pazazz! TFS

    Your first card popped out of FB at me today, the colours are so vibrant! Jelly that you have a MINC to play with, I think when hubby asks me what I would like for my birthday this might be it. Wonderful stamps and as usual your designs are so awesome!

    No surprise that I darn near fell off my chair when I saw the first card! The colors - Wowza! The bold sentiment - DOUBLE WOWZA! Great apple card too - I love the gold foil - awesome job with the foiing technique...something I have not yet tried but would love to learn how!

    Off to check out Concord & 9th (...hmmmm....sounds like a great name for a cool corner pub in England!)

    I've been eyeing that new company and your first delightful colorful card uses two of the products on my long wishlist :) The sentiments in Being Classy are fun and bold and I love how you used the paint stroke to create the colored stripes.     Haven't heard of this new stamp company but WOW what nice cards you have made with their stamps/dies! LOVE your "thoughtful" card! The sentiment is so vivaciously bold and the rainbow painted stripes look awesome. The gold foiled sentiment on the apple card is fab, too. :)

    Karolyn, both cards are awesome. I love your talent and vision and how you always think out of the box and put just the right amount into each of your cards. I'm always amazed what works of art come out of a piece of paper and a few other goodies. I love the new stamps and dues, I've never heard of them before but I'm on my way to check them out.
