Yay!!
It’s time for you to rush on over to the My Favorite Things Boutique and buy the Snowflake Sparkle Card Kit! It’s okay – I’ll wait for you to come back! And please do come back because I have more fun samples to share with you!
Okay, so I am not a quilter, but when I saw the snowflakes from the Simply Snowflakes Stamp Set and how lovely they looked layered together, it occurred to me that they’d be amazingly beautiful on a quilt square – namely the Quilt Square Cover-Up Die-Namic! So I paired it with the Simply Snowflakes Stamp Set, the coordinating Simply Snowflakes Die-Namics and the Peaceful Words Die-Namics - all from the Snowflake Sparkle Card Kit - to create this sweet little card. I was pretty darned happy with how it turned out! I’ve listed the products that I used below.
My final project was another fun one to create! I die cut the Silver Sparkle Card Stock from the kit using the scalloped rectangle from Blueprints 27 Die-Namics. The image panel was die cut using the stitched rectangle from the Blueprints 20 Die-Namics. I stamped the sentiment from the Snowfall of Blessings Stamp Set and die cut the largest snowflake from the Simply Snowflakes Die-Namics. I stamped the coordinating snowflake stamp from the Simply Snowflake Stamp Set onto a piece of acetate (using Jet Black Staz-On Ink) and adhered it behind the snowflake aperture. This way, the detail of the snowflake shows and the silver sparkle behind it adds some super fun bling! I added some Sparkling Clear Sequins and some black rhinestones (as I look at it now, those that I added rhinestones to kind of look like eyeballs – I probably wouldn’t do that again! LOL) for some extra texture and interest! Again, I’ve listed the products that I used below.
