Remember to come back tomorrow for MORE!
My first project features two of the newly released products. The Meowy Woofmas Stamp Set (and coordinating dies) and the Retro Holiday Labels Stamp Set are freakin’ amazing to play with!! Now, I don’t know about your house, but our cat loves to climb into the Christmas tree almost as soon as it’s decorated! The tree has never fallen over – YET! But as she gets chubbier and chubbier, there’s a high likelihood that it will! That’s what inspired this project. I totally thought that funny little cat would look cute and hilarious in the tree! I used the Columbus Circle Die and the Landscape Trio Dies to create this little scene. The sentiment is from the Retro Holiday Labels Stamp Set!
My second project again features the Retro Holiday Labels Stamp Set!! These sentiments are super fun, very creative and uber versatile! I used the Peek A Frame Creative Cuts to die cut the image panel. My vision here was a holiday post card, and ultimately turned it into a card! That’s my family in that little pic – each year we dress in our matching jammies and enjoy the holiday relaxing, eating, playing games, and just enjoying each other’s company. I so love this tradition!
Your next stop on the hop is the fabulous Laura Bassen, who no doubt will knock your socks off!! Thanks so much for stopping by!! I sure do appreciate it, and hope you’ll come back again, soon!!

Both of your cards are delightful!! I loved the little story behind your first picture - I sure hope your tree this year doesn't fall over from your kitty. I loved the way you spotlighted the tree using the dies to keep the focal image in the center. Your second card is just so cool wth the border matching the print of your cozy PJs - love it and the holiday tradition behind it. The sentiment is so perfect for the card.
ReplyDeleteYour card are so sweet and each telling it's own story. My cats never toppled over are tree but I did one year. Home alone and trapped under a 8' fully decorated tree. The picture card of your family is adorable. My daughter's and I did the same thing we got new pajamas but never matching as all three of us are very different. Super job and thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteOur cat used to climb outer tree too! I'm always worried it's going to fall over. He stopped a few years ago and now he just eats my ornaments. 😂 Very cute cards!

ReplyDeleteGreat family stories! The kitty in the tree card is so beautifully framed with the scalloped circle. Just darling. Love how well you matched you background paper to the pj's and the Retro Holiday Label stamp really suits the photo! (Our cat used to eat the tinsel. Not pleasant after he ended up trailing strings of sparkly stuff behind himself. O_o )

ReplyDeleteSuch wonderfully festive cards and great story!
ReplyDeleteMy cat liked to play with the ornaments on the bottom branches. We couldn't put any down there because she would bat them with her paw. A lot of our ornaments are from my mom's parents, my grandparents, who are no longer with us so if my cat broke one I would have been so upset! My cat also loved the boxes under the tree. Once they were opened she would sit in them even if they had a sweater in them! I had more clothes with cat hair all over them because the cat sat in the box. She never climbed the tree though. My cat died in the 80's so this card will remind me of my white cat under the tree. How adorable is that card with the sentiments I ordered? Love it!
ReplyDeleteThe second card doesn't seem as Christmasy as the first but I like it anyway because it uses my sentiments again. I can't wait to get them! Thanks for showing us your beautiful cards!
LOL, the second card literally made me laugh .... just adorable how you we able to coordinate the patterns so perfectly. I know I couldn't. THS.
ReplyDeleteFun cards.
ReplyDeleteThe jammies card is awesome!!
ReplyDeleteHaaaaa haaa what a great tradition!! LOVE your cards, well done!
ReplyDeleteOh what fun! We've had a few "kitten in the tree" incidents in the past...usually it's the ornaments that suffer!😏Love the Christmas PJ's and the cute card you made with it!👏🏻
ReplyDeleteGreats cards, loved the story about your cat :)
ReplyDeleteThe two cards have very different style. Good works!
ReplyDeleteNeat Christmas cards. Thanks for sharing.
