My Favorite Things–Creative Construction With Blueprints Challenge!

Hola, chicas!!

I had an AWESOMELY productive and creative weekend, and that makes me happier than a pig in slop! And I did it all in my “under world” hot craft room, to boot! LOL  Seattle experienced a bit of a crazy heat wave on Saturday and Sunday, and let’s just say that even though I live in Phoenix most of the year, I do NOT do heat well.  Yes, I was a little whiney, but I pushed through and was very successful in getting crap done!  #BOOM!

Anywho, I’m popping in quickly today to share the project that I created for this month’s My Favorite Things Creative Construction With Blueprints Challenge!  My Creative Team peeps and I were challenged to use the brilliantly engineered line of Blueprints Die-Namics to create a masculine card.  Here’s my answer to the challenge:

When My Favorite Things released the You Float My Boat Stamp Set this month, I knew I had to make an interactive card.  And the dies contained in the Blueprints 21 Die-Namics were the perfect match for this concept!  I used the pierced rectangle die, the half circle die, and the sentiment flag die from Blueprints 21 Die-Namics to create the scene.  I used the Surf & Turf Die-Namics to create the slider channel.  So the very “masculine” sailboat “floats” through the waves with ease!!  Fun, right?!  I’ve listed and linked all of the products that I used below.

Please click on through to the My Favorite Things Design Blog to be linked to the other masculine projects using the Blueprints Die-Namics!!

That’s it for me today, friends!!  I’m hoping to have another productive day in my craft room, and then I’m headed out to dinner with my high school girlies!! I CAN’T WAIT!  Thanks so much for stopping by today – it’s truly the highlight of my day!

  1. Great card, Karolyn! I love the After Midnight color...just may have to order the ink and the card stock. I especially like how you have a wave image visible through the slider channel. Thanks for sharing!
