Hello!
The time has finally come for the My Favorite Things New Product Launch!! I’m here to share another project featuring the Sketchy Flowers Stamp Set, the Sketchy Flowers Die-Namics, and the Celebrate Die-Namic, all new for the July Release!
I’m absolutely in love with those quirky little flowers and leaves. And that gorgeous scripty Celebrate Die-Namic just makes we weak in the knees!! Here’s how I created my project:
- Trim an A2, vertical, top-folding card base from Smooth White Card Stock. Score at 5.5”, fold in half and perfect the crease with a Teflon Bone Folder.
- Die cut an image panel from Smooth White Card Stock using the stitched rectangle die from the Blueprints 15 Die-Namics.
- Trim a 4.0” x 5.25” panel from Stamping Mask Paper. Die cut an aperture from the center of the mask using the Stitched Hexagon STAX Die-Namics. Remove the hexagon die cut, and adhere the mask to the image panel.
- Lightly blend some Tumbled Glass Distress Ink onto the image panel using a Mini Ink Blending Tool. Before removing the mask, place the Stitched Hexagon Die-Namic into the mask opening, using the inside edges of the mask to position the die, and dry emboss the die into the image panel using an Embossing Pad and a manual die cutting machine. Carefully remove the mask.
- Stamp the flowers and leaves from the Sketchy Flowers Stamp Set onto some Smooth White Card Stock using Black Licorice Hybrid Ink. Color the images with Copic Markers, and die cut them with the coordinating Sketchy Flowers Die-Namics. Arrange the die cuts onto the ink blended hexagon, and adhere them with Foam Squares.
- Die cut the Celebrate Die-Namic, three times from Smooth White Card Stock, and once from Black Licorice Card Stock. Adhere the layers together with Multi Medium Matte, making sure to add the black die cut on top. Adhere the assembled die cut to the image panel, over the top of the flowers and leaves, using Foam Tape.
- Color the die cut with Clear Wink of Stella, and then apply a coat of Glossy Accents with a Fineline Glue Bottle.
- Adhere the image panel to the card base with Foam Squares.
I’m so in love with the Sketchy Flowers Stamp Set and the Celebrate Die-Namic. I WILL be using these babies again and often! LOL I’ve listed and linked all of the products that I used to create my project below. Please click on through to the MFT Design Blog to be linked to the other amazing projects from my teammates.
