Avery Elle–Spring 2017 New Release Blog Hop!

The time has finally come for the Avery Elle Spring 2017 Release Blog Hop!  I don’t know about you all, but I’ve been waiting for this day for what seems like forever!!  Here’s my project for the hop:

 

 

My project features the new Time to Party Stamp Set and the coordinating Time to Party Elle-Ments!  I also used the Double Pierced Rectangle Elle-Ments to cut the pierced detail on the outside of the image panel.  I created a mask by stamping the balloon image from the Time to Party Stamp Set onto some masking paper, and carefully cut the image out using my detail scissors.  I then cut each balloon out individually, and adhered the mask to a piece of white card stock.  I then left two of the balloons in at a time, and blending some distress inks into each of the balloon spaces.  I stamped the same balloon image onto another white image panel, and used the coordinating Time to Party die to cut the image out.  I stamped the image a third time onto some vellum with white pigment ink, and heat embossed it with white embossing powder.  I adhered the vellum image behind the die cut opening, and then adhered that panel to the other ink blended panel, aligning the ink blending with the embossed balloons.  I adhered some white crochet thread to the image panel and tied some bows.  I also adhered some faceted clear dots.  The whole image panel is attached to a card base with the front covered with gray and white polka dot patterned paper.  I feel like the Time to Party Stamp Set is super fun and will make for some great birthday cards!
