Hello again!
I’m taking a brief respite from my craft room craze to share another project using one of the new May Release products! This time, I’m featuring the new Aussie Animals Stamp Set to create a fun thank you card.
I stamped the kangaroo from the new Aussie Animals Stamp Set onto some Copic-friendly white card stock using Black Licorice Hybrid Ink. I colored him with Copic markers. I stamped him a second time onto some masking paper, trimmed out the mask, and covered the colored image. I then lightly blended some Tumbled Glass and Twisted Citron Distress Inks in the background. I also stamped the grass image, and then removed the mask. I used the Big Thanks Die-Namic to die cut the word Thank – I used the partial die cutting technique to keep from cutting the S in Thanks. I die cut the image panel using the A2 Stitched Rectangle Set 1 Die-Namics. I removed the die cut letters and wrapped some jute twine around the bottom portion of the image panel. Then I adhered the image panel to the Kraft A2 card base using foam squares. I placed the die cut letters back into place using tiny bits of foam tape. I did a bit of surgery on the sentiment from the Aussie Animals Stamp Set, and stamped the word “Roo” onto some Kraft card stock with Black Licorice Hybrid Ink, and die cut it using the tiny flag die from the Blueprints 31 Die-Namics. I adhered it to the image panel using more tiny bits of foam tape. I’ve listed and linked all of the products that I used below.
