Hello my sweet friends!!
I’m popping in today to share my first project for the October Release, and am pretty darned excited as it includes another set of dies that I had a very small hand in designing! If you remember THIS card and THIS card and THIS card, you’ll remember that it involved adhering pieces of acetate together to create the shapes that “operate” the two characters coming together. Well, the brilliant minds behind MFT have created a set of super simple dies (one for horizontal A2 cards, and one for vertical A2 cards) that take ALL of the guess-work out of making these super fun interactive cards. I made a project featuring the new Trifold Slider Die-Namics, as well as a new stamp set that will be described in more detail later on this week in the Countdown. But those adorable llamas in the Happy Llamadays Stamp Set were perfect to demonstrate the new Trifold Slider Die-Namics, so I had to use them. Check it out!
And here’s what it looks like when you open the card:
I made a video (as well as a Tips & Tricks PDF) to show you how incredibly easy it is to make one of these Trifold Slider cards yourself, and you can find it by clicking on through to the MFT Design Blog. I’ve listed and linked all of the products that I used to create this fun project below.
You can also find the rest of the incredible Countdown Day 5 Projects that my teammates have created for you by clicking through to the MFT Design Blog! I promise you’ll be amazed! While you’re there, be sure and leave some love along the way for your chance to win a $75 Gift Voucher to the MFT Online Boutique! All of the October Release products will be available on Tuesday, October 9th, 2018 at 10:00 AM EDT!
Thanks so much for dropping by today, friends! I’m super excited about this month’s release, so I hope you’ll drop by again tomorrow for more October Release Countdown fun!! Until then, have a great day!

SO SO excited about this release! SO much fun!
ReplyDeleteOk, might have to get this set... my cousin loves llamas and I try to always do a llama holiday card for her. Quite a lot of the llama stamps I don't care for but this one is really cute - and could be really versatile I think.
ReplyDeleteGreat card....I am glad that the team at MFT’s made a way for all of us to be able to create something like this....that is awesome!!! Thank you so much for sharing this great card...and once finishing the blog hop...I will go back and watch your video....and check out the PDF....that was so kind of you...Thank you!!! Hugs
ReplyDeleteLove the kissing llamas!
ReplyDeleteI wondered if you helped to design the Trifold Slider. I love to create interactive cards (for all ages) and these are going on my wish list! Your llamas are beautiful too!

ReplyDeleteHi Karolyn,
ReplyDeleteI really love the peek-a-boo slider card. If I may ask, where did you get the A2 acetate guide? I couldn't find any reference to it on your blog. I really need to get one.
Kim
