My Favorite Things–WSC389!

Hello again!

I said I’d be back soon with the next Wednesday Sketch Challenge, and I’m keeping my promise!!  Here’s this week’s sketch:

I hadn’t had a chance to use the new Aquarium Die-Namics and the Adorned Ocean Friends Stamp Set and coordinating dies, so this week’s sketch provided the perfect opportunity to put them to use!  Instead of die cutting the glass area of the aquarium and using one of the new Large Rectangle Shaker Pouches, I embossed the “glass” area with the rectangle die included in the Aquarium Die-Namics.  I masked the area around the aquarium and blended some Tumbled Glass and Peacock Feathers Distress Inks.  I stamped the foliage images from the Adorned Ocean Friends onto the masked off aquarium using Sour Apple and Gumdrop Green Dye Inks.  I die cut the upper and lower portions of the aquarium using some Brushed Silver Card Stock and adhered it to the bottom and top of the ink blended area.  I stamped and die cut one of beautiful images from the Adorned Ocean Friends onto some Smooth White Card Stock using Peach Bellini and Coral Crush Dye Inks, and then used the coordinating Adorned Ocean Friends Die-Namics to cut it out.  I adhered the stamped image to the aquarium using a foam square.  The sentiment is from the Ocean Fun Stamp Set, and was stamped onto some Peach Bellini Card Stock using Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink, and heat embossed with White Embossing Powder.  I die cut the sentiment using the Slanted Sentiment Strip Die-Namics and adhered it to the image panel using some foam squares.  I’ve listed and linked all of the products that I used below.
