My Favorite Things - December Vault Release: NEW PRODUCTS AVAILABLE NOW!

Hello my loves!

Yes, it's been a bit quiet around here - life's been a bit crazy!  But I'm popping in today to share a project featuring a couple of the products being brought back out of the "vault" and will be available for purchase TODAY!  This flip flop card features the Martinis On Me Stamp Set from the A La Modes collection!

This is a shot of the card folded.  For a flip flop card, I scored a 5.5" x 8.5", scored and folded at 4.25".  Then I positioned the Martinis On Me Die-Namic in the center of the left side of the card and positioned my plate so that the die was partially cut.  I scored at the top and bottom of the die cut at 2-1/8" and folded the panel so that left edge of the panel met the scored center line.  Then I stamped, colored and die cut the main image from the Martinis On Me Stamp Set and adhered it to the left side of the card with foam squares.  I die cut the word Cheers from some glitter (once) and Black Licorice (three times) card stocks and adhered the layers together with liquid glue.  Then I adhered the layered die cut to the left side of the card, adhering bits of foam tape to the left portion of the die cut to adhere it to the panel.  I adhered some black and white polka dot pattern paper to the right inside of the card base, and then adhered the sentiment to the panel so that it's hidden by the martini die cut.  Here's what it looks like when you open the card:

My Favorite Things - Let's Toast (With a Twist) July Card Kit Release!

Hello again!

I'm so excited to share my final project for this month's card kit!! It's a little over the top in terms of detail - much more than I typically do!  But since it's a celebration, I figured it'd be okay, right?!  I used the new Impact Letters Die-Namics to spell out the word CHEERS, and used the wine glasses from the Let's Toast Die-Namics (from the Kit) to replace the E's.

I dipped the letters and wine glasses into some VersaMark and heat embossed them with some glittery gold embossing powder.  I splattered some black and gold paint onto the image panel to look like confetti, and I stamped the sentiment from the A Toast To You Stamp Set (from the Kit)!!  I've listed and linked all of the MFT Products that I used below.  This month's Let's Toast (With a Twist) Card Kit is available for purchase now!!

My Favorite Things - Let's Toast (With A Twist) July Card Kit!

Hello friends!

Today's the day that we get to start sharing projects for this month's card kit, which I think is going to blow your mind!  My sweet friend, and brilliant teammate Laura, has designed a set of interactive dies that will take this kit - Let's Toast (With a Twist) - to a whole new level!  You'll be able to amaze your friends with these dies as they have the ability to make the drink glasses from the Let's Toast Die-Namics clink together!  Oh mylanta!!  Here's my first card for Card Kit Countdown Day 1!

It's summertime, so I thought it'd be super fun to make the wine glasses, from the Let's Toast Die-Namics (there are three different drink glasses to choose from), into watermelon glasses!  I paired it with the Meet In the Middle Die-Namics, which is the interactive die set that makes the glasses clink when you pull on the pull-tab!  The sentiment is from the previously released Sweet Sentiments Stamp Set.  Here's what it looks like when I pull the pull tab!

I mean, COME ON, people!!  How freakin' cute is that?!!  It took a bit of finagling, but I am thrilled to little bits that I could get it to work, with the amazing help from Laura's video that will be shared over on the MFT Design Blog!  It's absolutely brilliant, I tell ya, and so is Laura!  I also used the new "Free with Purchase" Simply Celebrate Die-Namics to keep the glasses from rotating too far.  I've listed and linked all of the MFT products that I used below (although the links to the kit products will not be live until the Release on Tuesday).
