My Favorite Things - August 2020 Vault Release!

 Hello kids!

I'm popping in today to share my project for this month's Vault Release! There are so many fun products being re-introduced, but I just had to play with the Party Like A Pirate Stamp Set and coordinating dies!

I decided to create a pendulum card, which will allow the pirate ship to rock back and forth like it's being rocked by the rough seas!  Here's what it looks like in action:

I referred back to THIS video that I filmed many moons ago, but the basic principle works! And I've listed and linked all of the MFT products that I used below!

Please click on through to the MFT Design Blog to be linked to the other outstanding projects that my talented teammates have created for your inspiration using products from this month's Vault Release! Be sure and leave a comment on each of the August Vault Release posts for your chance to win a $50 Gift Voucher to the MFT Online Boutique! It's a random draw, but you can't win if you don't comment! All of the August Release Vault Products are available NOW and can be purchased by clicking on the graphic below!

That'll do it for me today, my loves! I'll be back again on Thursday with a project inspired by this month's Birthday Project Challenge! Until then, thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

My Favorite Things–February Release: MFT & Friends!

Hello lovelies!!

The February 2019 New Release is now live and available for purchase!  But before you go spend your money, please hang around a little bit to check out my project for today!  It features the new Party Penguins Stamp Set and coordinating dies, and the new Tag Builder Blueprints 7 – which I’m quite excited to say had a minor hand in designing!  I paired these two new products to create a super fun pendulum card.

The new Party Penguins Stamp Set is a really fun two-step set that allows you to stamp the penguin’s body, and their feet and beak separately!  And the new Tag Builder Blueprints 7 are great for creating a stand-alone focal area.  I’m so excited about both of these new products!!  When you tilt the card, the penguin dances from side to side.  Here’s a quick video clip of what it looks like in action.  I’ve listed and linked all of the products that I used below.

Please click on through to the MFT Design Blog to be linked to the other fabulous projects that my teammates and some of MFT’s friends have created for your inspiration using this month’s new release!  While you’re there, be sure and leave some love along the way for your chance to win one of TWO $100 Gift Vouchers to the MFT Online Boutique!  Two random winners will be chosen from the comments throughout the hop!  All of the February 2019 New Release products are available for purchase NOW and can be found by clicking on the graphic below.

That’s it for me today, my friends!  In fact, it’ll be a little quiet around here for the next several days! Hubby and I are headed to Washington, DC for my birthday!  I’m super excited to see all of the sights and enjoy a little getaway!  Thanks so much for stopping by today – I sure do appreciate the time you spend here with me.  I’ll be back very soon with more crafty goodness!!

My Favorite Things–October MFT & Friends!!

Hello my loves!!

MFTandFriends

I’m popping in quickly today to share a super fun project that I created for this month’s MFT & Friends Challenge!  I’ve combined the Filled with Joy Die-Namics with the Deck the Howls Stamp Set to create an hilarious pendulum card!

KKL_OCT1618-MFT-&-Friends

I just love the goofy looks on the faces of the dogs in the Deck the Howls Stamp Set, and I thought it’d be funny to make him look like he got his head stuck inside the O of Joy from the Filled With Joy Die-Namics.  So, I stamped him twice – once with his whole body, and once with just his head.  I assembled the pendulum mechanism similar to the one I created in THIS video, and then assembled the card.  The rest of the sentiment is from the Filled With Joy Stamp Set.  I’ve listed and linked all of the products that I used below.  And here’s a quick clip of what it looks like when I tilt the card back and forth.  Hilarious, right?

KKL_AUG0418-CD-Day-3

When I saw those adorable little puppies in the Dog-Gone Awesome Stamp Set, I knew I had to try and figure out how to make that doggie’s head rock back and forth like I could imagine him doing when I looked at him!  Can’t you see it, too?  I plan to film a video later this month (August 28th) showing you exactly how I did it, so I won’t go into too much detail until then.  But suffice it to say that I was pretty tickled when I figured it out!  I’ve listed and linked all of the products that I used below.  And here’s a little video clip of what it looks like when you tilt the card from left to right.

Please click on through to the MFT Design Blog to be linked to the other super cute countdown projects by my teammates for your inspiration!  While there, be sure and leave some love along the way for your chance to win a $75 Gift Voucher to the MFT Online BoutiqueAll of the August Release products will be available for purchase on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at 9:00 PM EDT.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  I’ll be back again tomorrow with another fun countdown project featuring more of the August Release products!  I hope you’ll come back again real soon! Until then, have a great day!
