My Favorite Things - June Outside the Box Challenge: Oceans of Love!

Hello again!

I'm back today to share a project that was inspired by this month's Outside the Box Challenge! This month's challenge is to craft an underwater adventure scene! I pulled out the Shadow Box Die-Namics and a few of my favorite sea-themed stamp sets and got to work!

I tried my best to include the amazing depth that is almost always achieved with any of the Outside the Box Die-Namics! I used the Wavy Lines Stencil (AGAIN!) to create my ocean, ink blending several colors to achieve the differences in the wave colors! I used the Ocean Waves Die-Namics to cut the ink blended panels at the top! I adhered the panels to the bridge die cuts that are included in the Shadow Box Die-Namics and then adhered those to the the assembled Shadow Box card! I stamped the whale, hearts and the schools of fish from the Friends With Fins Stamp Set, and the coral and seaweed from the Best Catch Ever Stamp Set! I blended some Summer Splash Ink around all of the die cuts so that the white borders weren't so stark. I've listed and linked all of the MFT products that I used below!

My Favorite Things - Outside the Box Challenge: Balloons!

Hello friends!

I'm super excited to be sharing a project that I created that was inspired by this month's Outside the Box Challenge! This month's challenge is all about celebrating with balloons! And considering this is graduation season, I knew this was the perfect time to bust out the Pumped-Up Letters and Pumped-Up Numbers Die-Namics to personalize a graduation card! And, of course, I pulled out the Outside the Box - Level Up Die-Namics and the Outside the Box Clouds Die-Namics! There was lots of die-cutting happening in my craft room today! LOL

We have two special graduates in our lives, so this will definitely be floating towards one of them! I had some shiny rainbow card stock in my stash, so I used that to die cut the balloon letters and numbers. The clouds were die cut from Vellum, and the box card was die cut from Smooth White and Something Blue card stock. The sentiment is from the Itty Bitty Basics Stamp Set, which is the "Free with $60 Purchase" Stamp Set from this month's card kit release! My Favorite Things - Outside the Box Challenge: The Great Outdoors!

Hello Friends!

I'm back today with another fun project that was inspired by the Outside the Box Challenge! I so love card challenges to get my creative juices flowing, especially when I'm in a creative slump! I LOVED this challenge because I had a ton of ideas for it! But in the end, I executed one of those ideas, and was pretty darned happy with the result! This month's Outside the Box Challenge is "outdoor scenes!" MFT has so many wonderful products that are perfectly suited to that theme! I pulled out my Sunny Vibes Stamp Set (because cute Love Bug Van!), and paired it with the Outside the Box Level Up, Outside the Box Snow Drifts (that I made into sand dunes), and the Outside the Box Waves Die-Namics.

I mean, come on! If this isn't the sunniest outdoor scene you've ever seen, then I'll eat my hat! And I had a blast creating it! I did a bit of masking on the background layer, and ink blended some sun rays and sky using the Sunrise Radiating Rays Stencil and some Lemon Drop, Razzle Berry and Summer Splash Dye Inks! I stamped, colored and die cut the images from the Sunny Vibes Stamp Set, and attached them to the sand dunes. I stamped the sentiment using the new formula of Milk Chocolate Dye Ink! People: I LOVE the new dye inks! They are so delicious! You MUST try them! I've listed and linked all of the MFT products that I used below.

My Favorite Things - Outside the Box Challenge: Love Is In the Air!

Hola chicas!

Today, we're sharing some fun projects for this month's Outside the Box Challenge, which has quickly become one of my favorites to spark my creativity! This month, the challenge is to create a box card that features love, in some form or fashion! I'll be honest - this was a challenge for me! But challenges are typically what force me out of my proverbial "box" - did you see what I did there?! LOL Anywho, I pulled out a few products and came up with this!

Okay, so I used some newer products to create my love-filled design! I ink blended the heart from the Heart Air Balloon Die-Namics. The heart-shaped clouds were created using dies from the Bitty Banner Alphabet Die-Namics and the Slimline Slide In Die-Namics. I used the Outside the Box Level Up and the Outside the Box Clouds to create my box card base. The bunny balloon rider is from the Missing You Every Single Day Stamp Set, and the sentiment is from the Love You Big Time Stamp Set!
