My Favorite Things - June Outside the Box Challenge: Oceans of Love!

Hello again!

I'm back today to share a project that was inspired by this month's Outside the Box Challenge! This month's challenge is to craft an underwater adventure scene! I pulled out the Shadow Box Die-Namics and a few of my favorite sea-themed stamp sets and got to work!

I tried my best to include the amazing depth that is almost always achieved with any of the Outside the Box Die-Namics! I used the Wavy Lines Stencil (AGAIN!) to create my ocean, ink blending several colors to achieve the differences in the wave colors! I used the Ocean Waves Die-Namics to cut the ink blended panels at the top! I adhered the panels to the bridge die cuts that are included in the Shadow Box Die-Namics and then adhered those to the the assembled Shadow Box card! I stamped the whale, hearts and the schools of fish from the Friends With Fins Stamp Set, and the coral and seaweed from the Best Catch Ever Stamp Set! I blended some Summer Splash Ink around all of the die cuts so that the white borders weren't so stark. I've listed and linked all of the MFT products that I used below!

My Favorite Things - February Release Countdown Day 5: The First Sneak Peeks!

Hello my friends!

It's the happiest time of the month, and we are so excited to share sneaks of this month's release products with you! Today's project features the new Shadow Box Die-Namics and the Super Friend Stamp Set! I used a few other previously released products to create my vision of a jungle, and I'm pretty stinkin' happy with how it all turned out!

Well, what do you think? Did I succeed in creating a dimensional jungle scene? The new Shadow Box Die-Namics are SUPER easy to assemble and a really fun alternative to box cards, but just as fun to create! I used the Shadow Box Die-Namics to create the box frame, and I was THRILLED to see that all of the accessory Outside the Box Die-Namics work with the Shadow Box Die-Namics. So, in this case, I used the Outside the Box Grass Die-Namics to create the four levels of dimension, where I tucked the critters and the leaves. I used the Birch Trees Die-Namics to create the tree trunks in the background, and I used the Stitched Rolling Clouds Die-Namics to create the jungle tree tops in the back and the front! And the critters from the Super Friends Stamp Set fit perfectly with my little jungle scene, don't you think? And here's the bonus - this baby folds flat and fits inside a standard A2 envelope! Wow!!
