Hello Again and Happy New Year!!
Hoping you all had as amazing a New Year’s Eve as we did – we may have had a little bit too much fun, but fun nevertheless. LOL We enjoyed some dinner, drinks, and dancing, and fun was had by all! But I gotta say, this girl is draggin’ fanny today. I guess I’m just too old for all those shenanigans! LOL

Popping in today to share a card I created for the current Runway Inspired Challenge #50. So many of the inspiration photos that Jennifer uses for this challenge just speak to me, especially the clean and graphic ones. That chartreuse green is one of my all time fave colors – so bold and dramatic. But the photo allows for a sweeter, softer boldness with the flowers on the lapel of the jacket. Do you see it?
I loved the elegance of the flowers on the lapel, so I found a rose branch in the Silhouette Online Store (Design #11453) that I think replicated a simplistic take on the photo. I was also inspired by the variegation of the tone on tone greens. I think there are still a few days to play along, if you’re inspired by this photo – you can find the details of the challenge HERE.
Well, friends, that’s it for me today. My mother-in-law and I are headed to the movies this afternoon. I have a whole list of movies that I want to see before awards season starts – better get busy, right?! LOL Hoping you have a great day, and as always, thanks so much for stopping by today!
