My Favorite Things - May Release Countdown Day 5: Freshly Picked Bouquet!

Hello friends!

Did you think I fell off the face of the earth?!! My sweet friends were kind enough to give me some time off to deal with some house stuff - remodeling, moving, packing, buying, selling, and more remodeling! My brain was on overload, and taxed to the max! It was a much needed creative break, and I can truly say that my creative tank is now filled and ready to go again! I'm starting the May Release Countdown off with a project using the new Freshly Picked Bouquet Stamp Set and the Freshly Picked Bouquet Die-Namics!

Instead of positioning the stamp on a vertical slant, I flipped it and stamped it horizontally towards the top of a Smooth White panel, with the edge of the stamp hanging off the edge of the panel. And then I used the coordinating Freshly Picked Bouquet Die-Namics to do a partial die cut, cutting only the lower edge of the image. I colored the image with my Copic Markers and adhered the panel to a Something Blue card base using foam squares. I stamped the sentiment from the Freshly Picked Bouquet Stamp Set onto the card base using some white pigment ink, and then heat embossed it with white embossing powder. I finished it off with some Sparkling Clear Sequins and some blue and white baker's twine that I had in my stash! My Favorite Things - October Release: MFT & Friends!

 Hello again!

It's time, girls and boys! The October Release is finally available for purchase! But before you head off to shop, please take a couple of minutes to check out my project that I made for today's link up! It features the new Virtually Best Stamp Set and and the Let's Connect Die-Namics!

So, if I've learned anything during this pandemic, it's that I need to do what's safe for me and for others. I've found new ways to communicate with those I love, so the Virtually the Best Stamp Set is absolutely perfect for reaching out to friends that you miss! I stamped the teacher image onto my panel, masking off the areas that I didn't wanted inked up, and then colored the face using my Copic Markers. Many of the sentiments and images of the Virtually the Best Stamp Set are geared towards praising and encouraging those super star teachers that have been working day and night to teach our kids virtually! But the set can also be used to for an all around "touch the ones you love" without actually touching them! Know what I mean?! LOL I created the computer using the Let's Connect Die-Namics, although I scaled the size of the computer down by doing a partial die-cut to make it smaller. Otherwise, my little friend here would've had like a 70" computer screen! LOL I stamped the word "Hello" onto the speech bubble (from the Let's Connect Die-Namics) using Black Licorice Hybrid Ink (the sentiment was created by doing a bit of stamp surgery on one of the sentiments from the Polar Bear Pals Stamp Set.) The hearts were die cut from Poppy card stock using the Tag Builders Blueprints 5 Die-Namics. I've listed and linked all of the MFT products that I used below!

My Favorite Things - January Release MFT & Friends!

Hello my loves!

My Favorite Things - MFT & Friends July Release!

Hello again!

The day has finally arrived that all of the July Release products are available for purchase!!  And we saved the best for last!! The My Favorite Things Creative Team, as well as a few of our friends, are joining in to share one last project with you all to show you how fun and creative this release is!

I used the Mermaid for Each Other Stamp Set once again, and this time I made an interactive card!  I used the launcher mechanism to draw the mermaid closer to the right when I pull the pull tab, and launch a crab from the water into the air!

My Favorite Things - July Release Countdown Day 1!

Hello again!

Oh my gosh - we are sooo close to the release!  I can hardly wait!  I'm back today with another fun project featuring the new Mermaid for Each Other Stamp Set and coordinating dies.  The images in this set are too stinkin' cute for words!

I kept this pretty simple.  I stamped and colored the images from the Mermaid for Each Other Stamp Set, and die cut them with the coordinating Mermaid for Each Other Die-Namics.  The sentiment was stamped onto some Limelight card stock with Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink, and heat embossed with white embossing powder.  I masked off the outside of the image panel, blended some Summer Splash Dye Ink over the Cascading Scallop Stencil, and then embossed the circle die into the image panel.  I've listed and linked all of the MFT Products that I used below (although the links to the July products won't be live until the release date.)

My Favorite Things–March Release Countdown Day 5!

Hello Friends!

It’s finally time to start the countdown to the March Release!  Today’s project features the new Sweet Friends Stamp Set and coordinating dies, as well as the new Rainy Circle Die-Namics.

I used the stitched circle from the Rainy Circle Die-Namics to dry emboss it into my image panel.  I masked off the circle and used the Mini Cloud Edges Stencil and some Tumbled Glass Distress Ink to create some soft clouds.  I stamped, colored and die cut the images from the Sweet Friends Stamp Set, and adhered them to create this sweet little scene.  I’ve listed and linked all of the products that I used below (although the links for the new release products will not be live until the release.)

My Favorite Things–February 2019 Release Countdown Day 2!

Hello again, my friends!!

I’m back again today to share another project featuring two of the new February Release Products that are soooo stinkin’ cute that I just can’t even imagine that you won’t love them as much as I do!  The new For the Record Stamp Set and the Turntable Die-Namics are really fun and easy to assemble!

I die cut the parts of the Turntable Die-Namics from Black Licorice, Poppy, Smooth White, and Brushed Silver Card Stock.  I stamped the sentiment from the For the Record Stamp Set, and then assembled the turntable – easy peasy!  I love the clean and simple look of this card, yet it still has a ton of interest!  And the sentiments in the For the Record Stamp Set are perfectly sweet and punny, and great for men or women, young or old!  I’ve listed and linked all of the products that I used on this project below.

I’m so excited to be here today to share my first project for this month’s Release Countdown Day 5!!  We have more interactive dies that are super fun – the new Leaping Slider Channel Die-Namics!!  And they paired perfectly with another new December product – the Over the Moon for Ewe Stamp Set and coordinating Die-Namics.  Here’s my project:

How stinkin’ cute is that adorable little lamb, jumping over the moon!  Yes, my card is interactive, and yes, it uses the new Leaping Slider Channel Die-Namics!  But I figured out a way to hide the channel that still allows the sheep to jump over the moon, which makes me really happy!  I made a video showing you the step-by-step instructions so that you can see how the Leaping Slider Channels work!  You can find the video, and all of the details of today’s other featured products, over at the MFT Design Blog to get all of the information that you need!  I’ve listed and linked all of the products that I used below (the links for the new products won’t be live until the December Release is available!)

My Favorite Things–March Release Countdown Day 3!

Hello again!!

I’m back again with one more March Release Countdown Projects!  I’m sure you’ve noticed that much of this month’s release, so far, is Easter and Spring-themed.  Well, I took the Hoppy Friends Stamp Set and coordinating dies, which is generally-speaking an Easter-themed set, and turned it into a girlfriend set!

I just looooove those little chickies from the Hoppy Friends Stamp Set sooooo much!!  And they color up really fast and easy!  I die cut a couple of the Elegant Rectangle STAX panels and butted the ends up together on the front to create a grounded area for those adorable little chicks from the Hoppy Friends Stamp Set.  I just love the simple decorative edge of the Elegant Rectangle STAX Die-Namics.  They’ll be great for matting!!  Anywho, the rest of my card is pretty straightforward.  I’ve listed and linked all of the products that I used below.

My Favorite Things -- Furever Friends Card Kit Release!

Yay!

We’ve finally made it to the release of the Furever Friends Card Kit!  Are you as excited as I am?!!  Seriously, this kit is so stinkin’ cute and I know you’re going to love it!  My last card is another interactive one – a pull tab slider card.

I used the sitting puppy and running puppy from the Furever Friends Card Kit and made the running puppy slide towards the sitting puppy by attaching him to a slider pull-tab.  Here’s what it looks like with the tab pulled completely out!

I also hid the slider channel behind the tall grass, and I’m really loving the cleaner look!!  I’ve listed and linked all of the products that I used below, for your convenience!

My Favorite Things–November Countdown Day 3!!

Hello again!

Have you been enjoying the countdown posts as much as I have?!!  We’re just a few short days away from the My Favorite Things November Release!!  All of your coffee lovers are going to LOVE the products featured in my project today!

That’s right, my friends!!  My Favorite Things has come out with THE most adorable coffee-themed stamp sets and dies that will fill your every coffee-loving need!!  The Coffee Date Stamp Set and coordinating dies, as well as the Coffee Break Stamp Set combine for lots of great options for sharing a cuppa joe with someone you love!  I stamped the images and sentiments all over a Smooth White image panel using a super fun color palette (the inks are listed below).  I stamped the focal sentiment onto some Milk Chocolate Card Stock using Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink, and heat embossed it with White Embossing Powder.  I die cut it out using the Stitched Sentiment Strips Die-Namics.  I used the Little Letters Die-Namics to die cut and pop up the “COFFEE” word under the sentiment strip.  As a final touch, I splattered some diluted Espresso Distress Ink all over the image panel and die cut it using the A2 Stitched Rectangle Set 2 Die-Namics.  The image panel is mounted onto a Milk Chocolate card base.  I’ve listed and linked all of the products that I used below.
