My Favorite Things–January Release: MFT & Friends!

Well hello again!

Well the day has finally arrived for all of the amazing January Release products to make their way into your inky little hands!! And I suspect the new products are going to literally fly out the door, so be sure and place your order – just as soon as you look at my project!!  LOL

I was excited to finally have a chance to ink up the new Hearts Entwined Stamp Set!  You can do so many fun things with this stamp, but I really wanted to try the shadow stamping technique with it!  I stamped the image first using some Razzle Berry Hybrid Ink (tone on tone for the first stamp is best for this technique).  Before the next step, I prepped my Razzle Berry image panel with an embossing powder bag; you could also heat set the Hybrid Ink just for good measure.  I did all of my stamping in my Mini MISTI so that I could then shift the panel ever so slightly (like 1/16” down) and restamp the image using Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink.  I then heat embossed it with White Embossing Powder.  I was pretty darned happy with how it turned out!  I die cut the outside edge the panel using the A2 Stitched Rectangle STAX Set 1 Die-Namics and then adhered it to a Razzle Berry A2 card base.  The sentiment is from the new Sweet Nothings Stamp Set, and was stamped in Razzle Berry Hybrid Ink, and then die cut using the Slanted Sentiment Strips Die-Namics.  I added some Sparkling Clear sequins and #BOOM – done!  I’ve listed and linked all of the products that I used below.

My Favorite Things–June Release Countdown Day 2!

Hello again!

I’m back with another June Release Countdown Project, and it’s another fun one! In fact, it’s an awesome stamp set that celebrates in an unexpected way!

How fun is this?!  This project features the new Fireworks Stamp Set, You Wow Me Stamp Set, and the new Wow Die-Namics!  I stamped the images from the Fireworks Stamp Set onto some Black Licorice Card Stock using VersaMark Ink.  Since it’s a two-step stamp set, it’s super easy to stamp one of the images for one color, and the other image for another.  In this case, I stamped the first images with VersaMark and heat embossed them with Silver Glitter Embossing Powder.  Then I stamped the second set images and heat embossed them with some vibrant and neon embossing powders that I had in my stash!  I die cut the WOW word die from some Silver Sparkle Card Stock, and stamped and embossed the sentiment from the You Wow Me Stamp Set using more Silver Glitter Embossing Powder.  I’ve listed and linked all of the products that I used below.

My Favorite Things–December Release Countdown Day 5!

Hello Friends!!

Can you believe that it’s already time to start the count down to the My Favorite Things November Release?!!  Where did October go, for crying out loud?!!  At any rate, it is in fact November, so let’s get started with the countdown, shall we?!

I have two projects to share for today’s countdown, and they both feature the amazing new background stamp called the Mesmerizing Mandala Background!  This stamp is truly incredible, and has quickly become one of my new favorite images!  My first project features a partial stamp of the Mesmerizing Mandala Background onto some Black Licorice Card Stock using VersaMark, and then heat embossed with three different colors of glitter embossing powder (that I had in my stash)!  I also stamped the Merry Christmas Greeting Stamp with VersaMark, and applied the three colors of glitter at the same time.  I love the dramatic look of the three jewel colors against that black card stock!

My second project again features the Mesmerizing Mandala Background Stamp.  But this time I partially stamped it first on some Red Hot Card Stock using Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink and heating embossing with White Embossing Powder, and then a second time onto a Smooth White Card Stock card base using VersaMark and heat embossed with red embossing powder.  I trimmed the red panel at an angle using the Stitched Basic Edges 2 Die-Namics, and then trimmed a Brushed Silver Card Stock panel using the same die.  The sentiment is from the Hand Lettered Holiday Stamp Set, and it was stamped using VersaMark and was heat embossed with Silver Embossing Powder.  Again, I’m in love with that amazing scrolled design and love the effect of the split coloring.
