My Favorite Things - Miss Tiina Mini Release Day 1: Hello Sunshine!

Hello crafty friends!

Wow! Do we have a special surprise for you all! MFT has collaborated with Miss Tiina, a terrific whimsical illustrator, and she has developed some incredibly awesome products for you, and they'll all be released on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at 10:00 AM EDT!

I had so much fun playing with these products! My first project features the I Love You More Stamp Set, and sentiment set that is amazingly fun and adorable! It also features the Hello Sunshine Die-Namics and the Summer Waves Stencil, all new products featured in the Miss Tiina Mini Release!

All of the new products from the Miss Tiina Release lends themselves wonderfully for clean and simple designs, which is right up my crafty alley! I masked off a panel and ink blended some Poppin' Pink, Summer Splash, and Caribbean Sea inks, and used the Summer Waves Stencil to create a sweet summer lake. I masked the panel a second time and ink blended some Lemon Drop, Candied Yam, and Summer Splash to create a warm summer sky! I created a polaroid frame by trimming a rectangle to size, and used the Stitched Square STAX Die-Namics to create the aperture. I placed the ink blended panel into my MISTI, temporarily positioned the polaroid frame on the panel so that I could place the sentiment from the I Love You More Stamp Set so that it overlapped with the frame and the panel. I stamped the sentiment using Black Licorice Hybrid Ink, removed the Polaroid frame, and then stamped the sentiment again onto the ink blended panel. I adhered the Polaroid frame onto the ink blended panel using some foam squares, and made sure that the words were aligned properly. I ink blended some Lemon Drop and Candied Yam onto a white panel and die cut the sun using the Hello Sunshine Die-Namics. I adhered the sun to the Polaroid frame using my liquid glue pen. I'm back with one last July Release Countdown project before tomorrow's release! Today's project features the new Bunch of Happiness Stamp Set, and oh my goodness, it's sooooo stinkin' cute!

Am I right, or am I right?!! I mean, COME ON! Those smiley fruits are just too cute for words! I stamped, colored and die cut the images and laid them on a checkered table cloth! They're cheering you on, and celebrating something wonderful! What more could you want, right?! I stamped three of the sentiments from the Bunch of Happiness Stamp Set along the right edge! My Favorite Things - July Release Countdown Day 2: Happy Birthday Watercolor Wash!

Hello again!

As promised, I'm back again today with another super fun project featuring the new Happy Birthday Die-Namics, and I paired it with the new Watercolor Wash Free Form Stencil! I am truly loving these new Watercolor Wash Stencils, but my fave is definitely the Free Form Stencil. And the Happy Birthday Die-Namics are perfect for a very clean and simple design! I also used the new A2 Double Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-Namics to add that awesome stitched detail to the outside edge of the main panel. Look Ma! No Stamping!

I die cut four layers of the Happy Birthday Die-Namics from Black Licorice Card Stock and adhered the layers together with my liquid glue pen. Then I die cut the shadow (included in the set) from some Vellum and adhered the layered die cut on top of that. I adhered the assembled die cut to the ink blended panel that I created using the Watercolor Wash Free Form Stencil - I blended some Poppin' Pink, Lemon Drop, and Summer Splash and overlapped the colors to create the other colors in the rainbow spectrum! This could not be EASIER yet so fun and bold! The perfect watercolor background without the water! I'm back again today with one more June Release Countdown project, this one featuring the new Sunshine Kisses Stamp Set, and I've once again pulled out the Wavy Lines Stencil! I am so addicted to this thing!

I did some masking and ink blending to give the impression of the ocean and skyline in the distance! and I inked some Milk Chocolate Dye Ink onto some Kraft card stock using the Drifts & Hill Stencil to make it look like sand dunes, and then I die cut it using the Stitched Snow Drifts Die-Namics. My Favorite Things - June Release Countdown Day 2: Best Catch Ever!

Hello again!

I'm back again today with another June Release countdown project, this one featuring the new Best Catch Ever Stamp Set and the Wavy Lines Stencil! I kept this very simple so as to create a sweet focal area that really showcases the new products!

Sea-themed images, especially whales, hold a dear place in my heart! I'm so in love with the sweet images contained in the Best Catch Ever Stamp Set! I am also madly in love with the new Wavy Lines Stencil, and have used it on most of my projects for this month's release! It's super versatile, and really fun to play with to create the variegated colors of the ocean! I layered it on top of the Circle Extraordinaire Stencil (I love layering stencils!) to give it that "port hole" look. My Favorite Things - June Release Countdown Day 3

Hello friends!

Welcome to the My Favorite Things June Release Countdown Day 3! I'm dropping in today to share a project that I created using the new Graphic Roses Die-Namics! It's an amazingly detailed die that provides a lovely outline, and allows for some time-consuming but super fun inlaid die cutting! I sat down in front of my favorite binge show and went to town!

I die cut the Graphic Roses Die-Namics three times - once from Smooth White, once from Poppin' Pink and once from Limelight! I used the white layer as the foundation for the inlaid die cuts, doing my best to secure the inside die cuts to the outline using tape. And then I removed the individual Poppin' Pink and Limelight pieces and inlaid them to create the final cluster of roses! I trimmed out a main panel from Smooth White and adhered the assembled rose cluster using foam squares. I die cut the Little Hello Die-Namics from Poppin' Pink and Translucent Vellum, adhered the two layers together with liquid glue, and then adhered the assembled die cut to the image panel using more liquid glue. I adhered the main panel to a stitched scalloped rectangle that I die cut from vellum using Blueprints 27 Die-Namics. And then I adhered the assembled panel to an A2, top folding card base made from Limelight card stock! I am amazed at the incredible detail of the Graphic Roses Die-Namics and look forward to playing with it more! My Favorite Things - May Release Countdown Day 1: Right At Home and My Neighborhood!

Hello again!

I'm back again today with one more May Release Countdown project, this one featuring the new Right At Home Stamp Set, and the My Neighborhood Die-Namics! The Right At Home Stamp Set has lots of wonderful and multi-occasion sentiments, and the My Neighborhood Die-Namics have so many possibilities of building a cute neighborhood with dies!

This one took a little bit of time because I went through several steps to create the background. I die cut the houses from the My Neighborhood Die-Namics (there are several to choose from - this is just four of the options) from my favorite masking material. I aligned the masks onto the Smooth White panel and then used some Summer Splash and Limelight inks to ink blend the sky and grass. I left the masks in place and used them to position the dies on top, and then I dry embossed them using an embossing mat and my manual die cutting machine. I die cut the roofs of each of the houses four times from Smooth White card stock and adhered the layers together with my liquid glue pen. Then I adhered the stacked roofs to the embossed houses. I die cut the focal house from Lemon Drop card stock and adhered it to the panel using foam squares. I adhered a strip of Black & White Striped pattern paper below the houses to ground them. I stamped the sentiment from the Right At Home Stamp Set and adhered some mini clouds that I die cut from Smooth White Card Stock using the Amazing Airplane Die-Namics! My Favorite Things - May Release Countdown Day 4: We Beelong Together!

Hello again!

I'm back again today with another May Release Countdown project, this one featuring the new We Beelong Stamp Set, We Beelong Die-Namics, and the Hexagon Pops Die-Namics! I stayed pretty clean and simple, but wanted to feature those cute bees hovering around that sweet patch of flowers and my version of a beehive!

I dry embossed the Hexagon Pops Die-Namics onto some Lemon Drop card stock and die cut it out using the previously released Stitched Circle Shaker Window Die-Namics.to die cut a circle of embossed hexagons for the beehive. I used the same die to die cut a circle from the image panel. And those bees are too stinkin' cute for words, don't you think? My Favorite Things - May Release Countdown Day 5: Freshly Picked Bouquet!

Hello friends!

Did you think I fell off the face of the earth?!! My sweet friends were kind enough to give me some time off to deal with some house stuff - remodeling, moving, packing, buying, selling, and more remodeling! My brain was on overload, and taxed to the max! It was a much needed creative break, and I can truly say that my creative tank is now filled and ready to go again! I'm starting the May Release Countdown off with a project using the new Freshly Picked Bouquet Stamp Set and the Freshly Picked Bouquet Die-Namics!

Instead of positioning the stamp on a vertical slant, I flipped it and stamped it horizontally towards the top of a Smooth White panel, with the edge of the stamp hanging off the edge of the panel. And then I used the coordinating Freshly Picked Bouquet Die-Namics to do a partial die cut, cutting only the lower edge of the image. I colored the image with my Copic Markers and adhered the panel to a Something Blue card base using foam squares. I stamped the sentiment from the Freshly Picked Bouquet Stamp Set onto the card base using some white pigment ink, and then heat embossed it with white embossing powder. I finished it off with some Sparkling Clear Sequins and some blue and white baker's twine that I had in my stash! My Favorite Things - February Release Countdown Day 2: We're Almost To the Finish Line!

Hello again!

We've just got a few more sleeps before the February Release will be available for purchase! Until then, we have more projects to share with you! Today's project features the new Fast -Track Friends Stamp Set and coordinating dies, as well as the new Fast Track Die-Namics! My youngest grandson has a birthday coming up, and he loves race cars, so I just HAD to make him a birthday card!

The new Fast-Track Friends Stamp Set is one of the CUTEST stamp sets I've seen in a long, long time! And the Fast Track Die-Namics (the curvy road in the background) is the perfect accessory! I also used three of the newly released cardstocks and dye inks - and let me just tell you, they are DELICIOUS! I stamped die cut and colored the image from the Fast-Track Friends Stamp Set. Isn't he so stinkin' cute? I die cut the Fast Track Die-Namics three times - once from white card stock, once from Eiffel Tower Card Stock, and once from Butterscotch Card Stock and adhered it together for my main image panel I die cut a stitched rectangle using the Inside & Out Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-Namics, and ink blended some sunshine and clouds! I die cut the road on the image panel using the Inside & Out Stitched Circle STAX Die-Namics, once from the panel, and once from Eiffel Tower Card Stock. I adhered the rounded road to the image panel, and then adhered some extra Butterscotch road lines. I added some Petite Clouds for detail! The sentiment from the Fast-Track Friends Stamp Set was stamped using the Eiffel Tower Dye Ink (these new inks are A-MAZING! They stamp and ink blend like a DREAM!) and die cut using the Boxed-In Banners Die-Namics and adhered with foam squares! The image panel was adhered to an A2 top-folding Fire Coral card base! My Favorite Things - February Release Countdown Day 3: More Sneak Peeks!

Hello again, friends!

I'm back again today with another Countdown project featuring one of the new products from the February Release! Today's project features the single sentiment Happiest Birthday Stamp Set! It's a wonderful size to create a foal point, and then I simply layered some stencils on top for an emboss resist!

 First, I stamped the Happiest Birthday Stamp Set onto a white panel using embossing ink and then heat embossed it with white embossing powder. I then used the Big Balloon Stencil to in blend the balloon using Razzle Berry, Lemon Drop, and Summer Splash Dye Inks. Then I temporarily adhered the negative of the Big Balloon Stencil and layered the Sprinkles Stencil on top of that and ink blended the sprinkles using the same inks! I die cut the scalloped panel using the Blueprints 27 Die-Namics and some vellum, and layered that behind the image panel. I adhered that to an A2 top folding Summer Splash card base! Added a few sparkling clear sequins, and away we go! I've listed and linked all of the MFT products that I used below (although the new product links won't be live until the release!)

My Favorite Things - February Release Countdown Day4: The Sneak Peeks Continue!

Hello again!

I'm back today with another February Release Countdown Project! Today's project features a stunningly beautiful flower set called Wild Poppies! This stamp set is super versatile! I decided to do a little spotlight ink blending on just the blooms!

I felt like the ink blending gave the poppies a softer look. I stamped the image from the Wild Poppies Stamp Set onto white card stock using embossing ink, and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. I used a finger ink blending dobber to lightly blend some Poppy Dye Ink onto the flower images. I also lightly blended some Milk Chocolate Dye Ink to the bloom centers. I used the Wild Poppies Die-Namics to die cut the image. I die cut an aperture from a Poppy card base using the A2 Circle STAX Die-Namics, and then I positioned the floral image onto the panel so that I revealed a spot for the sentiment, also from the Wild Poppies Stamp Set. Once I adhered the stamped flower image, I trimmed off the excess with my scissors to fit the image panel. My Favorite Things - February Release Countdown Day 5: The First Sneak Peeks!

Hello my friends!

It's the happiest time of the month, and we are so excited to share sneaks of this month's release products with you! Today's project features the new Shadow Box Die-Namics and the Super Friend Stamp Set! I used a few other previously released products to create my vision of a jungle, and I'm pretty stinkin' happy with how it all turned out!

Well, what do you think? Did I succeed in creating a dimensional jungle scene? The new Shadow Box Die-Namics are SUPER easy to assemble and a really fun alternative to box cards, but just as fun to create! I used the Shadow Box Die-Namics to create the box frame, and I was THRILLED to see that all of the accessory Outside the Box Die-Namics work with the Shadow Box Die-Namics. So, in this case, I used the Outside the Box Grass Die-Namics to create the four levels of dimension, where I tucked the critters and the leaves. I used the Birch Trees Die-Namics to create the tree trunks in the background, and I used the Stitched Rolling Clouds Die-Namics to create the jungle tree tops in the back and the front! And the critters from the Super Friends Stamp Set fit perfectly with my little jungle scene, don't you think? And here's the bonus - this baby folds flat and fits inside a standard A2 envelope! Wow!! My Favorite Things - January Release Countdown Day 1: The last sneak peek before the Release!

Hello again!

I'm back again today with one last sneak peek before tomorrow's release! Today's project features those adorable kittens from the Mini Meows Stamp Set and the sentiment was created using the Be Happy Die-Namics! I was inspired by my teammate, Alberto, who does the most amazing things with Copic Markers! I think you all know that I am Copic Marker-challenged, but I can do fun stuff with ink blending!

The kittens in the Mini Meows Stamp Set are just so irresistible! I love them! And ink blending them with rainbow colors is certainly unexpected, but I thought it was kinda fun - I'm really happy with how this turned out! Thank you to Alberto for inspiring me! My Favorite Things - January Release Countdown Day 2: How About Some Magical Sneak Peeks?

Hello again!

I've got another day of fun sneak peeks of the January Release products, and today's featured products are too cute for words!  My project features the new Pretty Princess Stamp Set, Pretty Princess Die-Namics, and the Heart Extraordinaire Stencil! I love the "Extraorinaire" line of stencils because you can use both pieces to mask. I did a reverse mask and blended ink around the heart shape, rather than blending the ink into the shape!

Isn't she so precious?! I added some sparkle spray on top of the blended ink to create my own iridescent background, and I added some glitter to her wings, and I added some sparkly stars for accent! My Favorite Things - January Release Countdown Day 3: More Awesome Sneak Peeks!

Hello everyone!

I'm back today with another project using some of today's featured new products! The Heart Air Balloon Die-Namics are so stinkin' fun to create with! The color combos are limitless! The Bitty Banner Alphabet Die-Namics are perfect for personalizing projects, and I used the heart from the Slimline Slide In Die-Namics and the heart from the Bitty Banner Alphabet Die-Namics to create some heart shaped clouds! And I stamped, colored and die cut one of the little girls from the Virtually the Best Stamp Set!

My youngest granddaughter has a birthday coming up soon, so I thought I'd create something to celebrate her! I've listed and linked all of the MFT products below (although the links to the new products won't be live until the release.)
