My Favorite Things - Miss Tiina Mini Release Day: Hello Sunshine!

Hello again!

The time has come for you to put the new Miss Tiina products into your shopping cart! But before you start shopping, please check out my project for today's release! This one is super simple, but still impactful! It features the new Hello Sunshine Die-Namics, which includes a sentiment die as well as a sunshine die. I used the sentiment die for this project!

All of the new Miss Tiina products in this mini release are super versatile, sweet and very whimsical! I ink blended the mail panel using the Rectangle Extraordinaire Stencil and some Summer Splash, Caribbean Sea, and Something Blue Dye Inks. If you haven't tried ink blending our new formula dye inks, you really should! They blend so beautifully and smoothly! I ink blended another panel using Poppin' Pink and Lemon Drop (the colors blend in the middle to create an orange hue), and then die cut the Hello Sunshine die from that panel. I adhered some double sided tape to the back of the letters and adhered them to the center of the blue ink blended panel. I adhered some Sparkling Clear sequins and adhered the main panel to a Smooth White card base using foam squares! Super easy, yet really fun and impactful! I've listed and linked all of the MFT products below. You can find ALL of the new Miss Tiina products by clicking on the graphic below - they're all available now, and I'd hurry if I were you - I'm pretty sure these new products are going to fly off the shelves!

My Favorite Things - Miss Tiina Mini Release Day 1: Hello Sunshine!

Hello crafty friends!

Wow! Do we have a special surprise for you all! MFT has collaborated with Miss Tiina, a terrific whimsical illustrator, and she has developed some incredibly awesome products for you, and they'll all be released on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at 10:00 AM EDT!

I had so much fun playing with these products! My first project features the I Love You More Stamp Set, and sentiment set that is amazingly fun and adorable! It also features the Hello Sunshine Die-Namics and the Summer Waves Stencil, all new products featured in the Miss Tiina Mini Release!

All of the new products from the Miss Tiina Release lends themselves wonderfully for clean and simple designs, which is right up my crafty alley! I masked off a panel and ink blended some Poppin' Pink, Summer Splash, and Caribbean Sea inks, and used the Summer Waves Stencil to create a sweet summer lake. I masked the panel a second time and ink blended some Lemon Drop, Candied Yam, and Summer Splash to create a warm summer sky! I created a polaroid frame by trimming a rectangle to size, and used the Stitched Square STAX Die-Namics to create the aperture. I placed the ink blended panel into my MISTI, temporarily positioned the polaroid frame on the panel so that I could place the sentiment from the I Love You More Stamp Set so that it overlapped with the frame and the panel. I stamped the sentiment using Black Licorice Hybrid Ink, removed the Polaroid frame, and then stamped the sentiment again onto the ink blended panel. I adhered the Polaroid frame onto the ink blended panel using some foam squares, and made sure that the words were aligned properly. I ink blended some Lemon Drop and Candied Yam onto a white panel and die cut the sun using the Hello Sunshine Die-Namics. I adhered the sun to the Polaroid frame using my liquid glue pen. Clean and simple perfection, I tell ya! I've listed and linked all of the MFT products that I used below (although the links to the new products won't be live until the release.)

Please click on through to the MFT Design Blog to be linked to the other fantastic projects that my fellow teammates have created using the Miss Tiina Mini Release products! My Favorite Things - July Release: MFT & Friends!

Howdy!

Yay! It's finally time to purchase all of the new July Release products! But before you go shopping, please take a minute to check out my project for today's post! I pulled out the Summer Safari Stamp Set, the In Stitches Lowercase Alphabet Die-Namics, the A2 Double Stitched Rectangles STAX Die-Namics, and the Watercolor Wash Rectangle Stencil to create today's project!

I stamped, colored and die cut the giraffe image from the Summer Safari Stamp Set. I created a punny sentiment by die cutting the In Stitches Alphabet Die-Namics and the In Stitches Lowercase Alphabet Die-Namics to create the word "giraffe," and combined it with one of the sentiments from the Summer Safari Stamp Set (after a bit of very careful stamp surgery.) I ink blended some Candied Yam, Butterscotch, and Limelight dye inks onto a Smooth White panel using the Watercolor Wash Rectangle Stencil. I die cut the outer edge of the panel using the largest of the A2 Double Stitched Rectangles STAX Die-Namics. I adhered everything together with foam squares, and adhered the assembled panel to an A2 horizontal top-folding Kraft card stock. I've listed and linked all of the MFT products that I used below. All of the July Release products are available for purchase NOW and can be found by clicking on the "ORDER NOW" graphic!

Please click on through to the MFT Design Blog to be linked to the other wonderful projects that my teammates and some of our friends have created for you using products from this month's release! It's a random draw, but you can't win if you don't comment on each of the linked blogs!

My Favorite Things - July Release Countdown Day 2: Happy Birthday Watercolor Wash!

Hello again!

As promised, I'm back again today with another super fun project featuring the new Happy Birthday Die-Namics, and I paired it with the new Watercolor Wash Free Form Stencil! I am truly loving these new Watercolor Wash Stencils, but my fave is definitely the Free Form Stencil. And the Happy Birthday Die-Namics are perfect for a very clean and simple design! I also used the new A2 Double Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-Namics to add that awesome stitched detail to the outside edge of the main panel. Look Ma! No Stamping!

I die cut four layers of the Happy Birthday Die-Namics from Black Licorice Card Stock and adhered the layers together with my liquid glue pen. Then I die cut the shadow (included in the set) from some Vellum and adhered the layered die cut on top of that. I adhered the assembled die cut to the ink blended panel that I created using the Watercolor Wash Free Form Stencil - I blended some Poppin' Pink, Lemon Drop, and Summer Splash and overlapped the colors to create the other colors in the rainbow spectrum! This could not be EASIER yet so fun and bold! The perfect watercolor background without the water! I've listed and linked all of the MFT Products that I used below (although the links to the new products won't be live until the Release.)

My Favorite Things - June Release Countdown Day 3

Hello friends!

Welcome to the My Favorite Things June Release Countdown Day 3! I'm dropping in today to share a project that I created using the new Graphic Roses Die-Namics! It's an amazingly detailed die that provides a lovely outline, and allows for some time-consuming but super fun inlaid die cutting! I sat down in front of my favorite binge show and went to town!

I die cut the Graphic Roses Die-Namics three times - once from Smooth White, once from Poppin' Pink and once from Limelight! I used the white layer as the foundation for the inlaid die cuts, doing my best to secure the inside die cuts to the outline using tape. And then I removed the individual Poppin' Pink and Limelight pieces and inlaid them to create the final cluster of roses! I trimmed out a main panel from Smooth White and adhered the assembled rose cluster using foam squares. I die cut the Little Hello Die-Namics from Poppin' Pink and Translucent Vellum, adhered the two layers together with liquid glue, and then adhered the assembled die cut to the image panel using more liquid glue. I adhered the main panel to a stitched scalloped rectangle that I die cut from vellum using Blueprints 27 Die-Namics. And then I adhered the assembled panel to an A2, top folding card base made from Limelight card stock! I am amazed at the incredible detail of the Graphic Roses Die-Namics and look forward to playing with it more! I've listed and linked all of the MFT Products that I used below (although the links to the new products won't be live until the release.)

Hello again!

I'm popping in today to share a project that was inspired by this week's Wednesday Sketch Challenge! Unusually, I pretty much used the sketch as is - I typically go "off script" a bit! But not today! Here's this week's sketch:

And this is what I created in response to this week's challenge!

I warned you that there wouldn't be much diversion from the sketch! I mean - what's more perfect that a mylar balloon among the clouds? I used the Balloon STAX Die-Namics to create my balloon - I die cut it out of some of that amazing rainbow iridescent card stock from my stash! I used the Stitched Rolling Clouds Edges Die-Namics to create the layered clouds, and I used the Sunrise Radiating Rays Stencil to ink some air rays on the base of the card! The sentiments are all from the new Itty Bitty Basics Stamp Set (the "FREE with $60 Purchase" item from this month's Kit Release!) and they were die cut using the Itty Bitty Strips Die-Namics! I've listed and linked all of the MFT products that I used below.

Please click on through to the MFT Design Blog to be linked to the other fabulous designs that my fellow teammates have created for your inspiration using this week's Sketch Challenge! And while you're there, be sure and link up a project of your own using this week's sketch for your chance to win a $50 Gift Voucher to the MFT Online Boutique! It's a random draw, but you have to play to win!

That's it for me, friends! I'll be back soon with my monthly interactive card and process video, so please stay tuned! Until then, thanks for stopping by, and have a wonderful day!

My Favorite Things - Wednesday Sketch Challenge #542: I'm Never Not Thinking of You

Hello friends!

Did you think I fell off the face of the earth again?! Our kids and grandkids were visiting last week, so I decided to be "present" while they were here - which meant that my crafting had to go on the back burner for a bit. But I'm back and bringing you a project that was inspired by this week's Wednesday Sketch Challenge! And it's a double bonus project because I hadn't had a chance to play with this month's Floral Focus Card Kit! So I pulled it out and went to town! Here's this week's sketch:

And here's what I created!

I pulled out the In-Focus Florals Die-Namics, dies that could be purchased separately from this month's kit, but coordinate with the kit contents beautifully! I am dying over the intricate details of these die cuts! And I am swooning over how cool they look when stacked black on top of white! I blended some Poppin' Pink, Lemon Drop and Summer Splash Dye Inks to create my rainbow (have I mentioned how AMAZING these new dye inks blend - like BUTTAH!), and then ink blended the same inks over the Punch Pattern Stencil to create the background. The sentiment is from the Friends Like You Stamp Set (also part of this month's kit) and was stamped onto Black Licorice Card Stock using white pigment ink and then heat embossed with white embossing powder. I die cut the sentiment strip using the Slimline Skinny Strips Die-Namics (which can also be purchased separately from the kit!) I've listed and linked all of the MFT products that I used below!

Please click on through to the MFT Design Blog to be linked to the other beautiful projects that my fellow teammates have created using this week's Wednesday Sketch Challenge! And while you're there, why not link up your own design inspired by this week's Sketch for your chance to win a $50 Gift Voucher to the MFT Online Boutique! It's a random draw, but you have to play along to be eligible!

That'll do it for me today, kids! I'll be back on Friday with another challenge project! Thanks so much for stopping by, and have a wonderful day!

My Favorite Things - May Release Countdown Day 1: Right At Home and My Neighborhood!

Hello again!

I'm back again today with one more May Release Countdown project, this one featuring the new Right At Home Stamp Set, and the My Neighborhood Die-Namics! The Right At Home Stamp Set has lots of wonderful and multi-occasion sentiments, and the My Neighborhood Die-Namics have so many possibilities of building a cute neighborhood with dies!

This one took a little bit of time because I went through several steps to create the background. I die cut the houses from the My Neighborhood Die-Namics (there are several to choose from - this is just four of the options) from my favorite masking material. I aligned the masks onto the Smooth White panel and then used some Summer Splash and Limelight inks to ink blend the sky and grass. I left the masks in place and used them to position the dies on top, and then I dry embossed them using an embossing mat and my manual die cutting machine. I die cut the roofs of each of the houses four times from Smooth White card stock and adhered the layers together with my liquid glue pen. Then I adhered the stacked roofs to the embossed houses. I die cut the focal house from Lemon Drop card stock and adhered it to the panel using foam squares. I adhered a strip of Black & White Striped pattern paper below the houses to ground them. I stamped the sentiment from the Right At Home Stamp Set and adhered some mini clouds that I die cut from Smooth White Card Stock using the Amazing Airplane Die-Namics! I've listed and linked all of the MFT Products that I used below (although the links to the new products won't be live until the release!)

Please click on through to the MFT Design Blog to be linked to the other outstanding projects that my fellow teammates have created for your inspiration using today's May Release featured products! All of the May Release products will be available for purchase on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at 10:00 AM EDT!

And that's a wrap for today, friends! I'll be back again tomorrow with my project for the MFT & Friends May Release! Thanks so much for stopping by, and have an awesome day!

My Favorite Things - Wednesday Sketch Challenge 531: To My Main Squeeze!

Hey there!

I'm back again today with a fun project that was inspired by this week's Wednesday Sketch Challenge! I really love the elements of this sketch because I feel like they leave a lot of room for all kinds of ideas! As per usual, I decided to go pretty clean and simple. I pulled out the Main Squeeze Stamp Set and the Stitched Rectangle Scallop Edge Frames Die-Namics to create the different elements of the sketch. Here's this week's sketch:

That strip in the center was stressing me out a little bit! So I wrapped my image panel with some baker's twine, and that just made me happy! In the end, this was a really fun sketch to work with! I've listed and linked all of the MFT products used below.

Pretty please, with sugar on top, click on through to the MFT Design Blog to be linked to the other spectacular designs that my fellow teammates have created for you using this week's sketch! And while you're there, why not link up your own project using this week's sketch for a chance to win a $50 Gift Voucher to the MFT Online Boutique! One random winner will be chosen, but you can't win if you don't play!

That'll do it for me today, friends! It'll be a little quiet around the ol' blog as we are in the midst of some transitional housing situations, all of which will be consuming my very little pea brain. But I'll be back before you know it, with more crafty stuff just for you! Until them, please stay safe and have a wonderful day!

My Favorite Things - Outside the Box Challenge: The Great Outdoors!

Hello Friends!

I'm back today with another fun project that was inspired by the Outside the Box Challenge! I so love card challenges to get my creative juices flowing, especially when I'm in a creative slump! I LOVED this challenge because I had a ton of ideas for it! But in the end, I executed one of those ideas, and was pretty darned happy with the result! This month's Outside the Box Challenge is "outdoor scenes!" MFT has so many wonderful products that are perfectly suited to that theme! I pulled out my Sunny Vibes Stamp Set (because cute Love Bug Van!), and paired it with the Outside the Box Level Up, Outside the Box Snow Drifts (that I made into sand dunes), and the Outside the Box Waves Die-Namics.

I mean, come on! If this isn't the sunniest outdoor scene you've ever seen, then I'll eat my hat! And I had a blast creating it! I did a bit of masking on the background layer, and ink blended some sun rays and sky using the Sunrise Radiating Rays Stencil and some Lemon Drop, Razzle Berry and Summer Splash Dye Inks! I stamped, colored and die cut the images from the Sunny Vibes Stamp Set, and attached them to the sand dunes. I stamped the sentiment using the new formula of Milk Chocolate Dye Ink! People: I LOVE the new dye inks! They are so delicious! You MUST try them! I've listed and linked all of the MFT products that I used below.

Please click on through to the MFT Design Blog to be linked to the other fantabulous projects that my fellow teammates have created for you! My Favorite Things - February Release Countdown Day 2: We're Almost To the Finish Line!

Hello again!

We've just got a few more sleeps before the February Release will be available for purchase! Until then, we have more projects to share with you! Today's project features the new Fast -Track Friends Stamp Set and coordinating dies, as well as the new Fast Track Die-Namics! My youngest grandson has a birthday coming up, and he loves race cars, so I just HAD to make him a birthday card!

The new Fast-Track Friends Stamp Set is one of the CUTEST stamp sets I've seen in a long, long time! And the Fast Track Die-Namics (the curvy road in the background) is the perfect accessory! I also used three of the newly released cardstocks and dye inks - and let me just tell you, they are DELICIOUS! I stamped die cut and colored the image from the Fast-Track Friends Stamp Set. Isn't he so stinkin' cute? I die cut the Fast Track Die-Namics three times - once from white card stock, once from Eiffel Tower Card Stock, and once from Butterscotch Card Stock and adhered it together for my main image panel I die cut a stitched rectangle using the Inside & Out Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-Namics, and ink blended some sunshine and clouds! I die cut the road on the image panel using the Inside & Out Stitched Circle STAX Die-Namics, once from the panel, and once from Eiffel Tower Card Stock. I adhered the rounded road to the image panel, and then adhered some extra Butterscotch road lines. I added some Petite Clouds for detail! The sentiment from the Fast-Track Friends Stamp Set was stamped using the Eiffel Tower Dye Ink (these new inks are A-MAZING! They stamp and ink blend like a DREAM!) and die cut using the Boxed-In Banners Die-Namics and adhered with foam squares! The image panel was adhered to an A2 top-folding Fire Coral card base! I've listed and linked all of the MFT products below (although the new product links won't be live until the release!)

My Favorite Things - Wednesday Sketch Challenge #525: Spread Kindness!

NOTE: If you're looking for my Erin Lee Creative January Release post, please click HERE.

Hello friends!

I'm popping in to share a project that was inspired by this week's Wednesday Sketch Challenge! It's a super graphic sketch, which is always a fun challenge for me! It took me a bit of time (and a little bit of help from a friend), but I finally settled on creating a very graphic rainbow using the Straight-Up Rainbow Die-Namics! And one of the sentiments from the Good Vibes Stamp Set fit perfectly inside the cloud! Here's the sketch:

And this is the design that I came up with!

Once I settled on a concept, this came together super quickly! I love that the whimsical font of the sentiment is a perfect contrast to the graphic, edgy rainbow! And, of course, I had to add some Sparkling Clear Sequins for a little bit of bling! I've listed and linked all of the MFT products that I used below!

Please click on through to the MFT Design Blog to be linked to the other fabulous projects that my fellow teammates created for you!
