My Favorite Things - January Vault Release!

Well hello!

I'm popping in today to share my project for today's Vault Release! I've been a little under the weather so wasn't able to play with all of the new goodies, but I just had to play with the re-released Mini Mail Die-Namics. I paired them with the Friends Like Us Stamp Set (after some serious stamp surgery) and Lots of Hugs Stamp Set.

I created a little "hidden message" slider that slides out of the top of that mini envelope (created by using the Mini Mail Die-Namics. I actually filmed a video of how I created this project, and that'll be available to view on January 24th on the MFTv YouTube Channel! so I don't want to give too much away! But Here's a quick pic of what it looks like when you tug on those strings:

This was really fun to create, and I hope you'll check out the video when it goes live on the 24th! Until then, I've listed and linked all of the MFT Products that I used below!

But before you go shopping, be sure and click on through to the MFT Design Blog to be linked to the other brilliant projects that my amazing teammates have created for your inspiration! My Favorite Things - November Release Countdown Day 4: Movin' & Groovin Die-Namics!

Hello friends!

The November Countdown has begun, and today we're sharing even more fabulous products from the upcoming November Release! I have two projects to share with you today, and both feature the new Movin' & Groovin' Die-Namics and the Movin' & Groovin' Slimline Die-Namics! I'm thrilled to say that I helped design these interactive dies, and I hope you all love them as much as I do! My first project uses the Movin' & Groovin' Die-Namics, which are designed to work with an A2 horizontal card. It also includes the new You Sleigh Me Stamp Set and coordinating dies, because I loved the idea of that adorable little penguin bobbing up and down those rolling snow drifts on his cute little sled. Check it out!

So the Movin' & Groovin' dies were designed such that when you pull on the pull tab, the end of the pull tab rotates with the movement of the rolling hills or drifts or waves. The mechanism is super easy to assemble, and I think has tons of universal applications: a rocking ship, a skier, a train traveling over the hills - honestly, these are just a few of the ideas that I thought of that would make these interactive dies super fun to work with! I filmed a video that shows you exactly how to assemble the mechanisms for this and the slimline set, which I'll show you below. You can find the video over on the MFT Design Blog HERE. But before you go, I have another project that I would love to share with you!

This project features the Movin' & Groovin' Slimline Die-Namics and the new Pandas At Play Stamp Set and coordinating dies. And before you nail me, I realize that riding a scooter in the snow is somewhat dangerous! Use your imagination, people! This is card making - we all live in an imaginary world when we're creating, right?! Anything is possible! The only difference between the Movin' & Groovin' Die-Namics and the Movin' & Groovin' Slimline Die-Namics is the scale of the dies - one is designed for A2 horizontal oriented cards, and the other is designed for standard slimline oriented cards! Otherwise, they are identical! And of course, the slimline dies join the already substantial group of slimline products that are growing each and every month! I've listed and linked all of the MFT products that I used on both projects below (although the links to the new products won't be live until the release.) You can find the video that I filmed showing you how both sets of Movin' & Groovin' Die-Namics work by clicking on the MFTv graphic below.

Please click on through to the MFT Design Blog to be linked to the other fabulous projects that my fellow teammates have created for your inspiration using today's featured release products! And while you're there, be sure and leave a comment for your chance to win a $75 Gift Voucher to the MFT Online Boutique! There will be one winner for each day of the countdown, but you can't win if you don't comment! All of the November Release products will be available for purchase on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at 10:00 EST!

That's it for me today, my friends! I'll be back again tomorrow with another countdown project featuring more of the amazing November products! Thanks so much for stopping by, and have an amazing day!

 Hello everyone!

It's time once again for the start of the monthly release sneak peeks, and I just know you're going to love every single item this month! This release is so stinkin' fun! I pulled out the Holiday Penguins Stamp Set and the Holiday Penguins Die-Namics, and I paired them with the Meet In the Middle Die-Namics to make the penguins do a happy dance in front of the Christmas Tree!

Here's a quick video of the card in action when I tug down on the pull tab:

How freakin' cute are those darling little penguins?! That Birdie Brown is a genius in cuteness, that's for sure! I plan to film a process video to show you step-by-step how I created this project, but that won't be live until later this month! In the meantime, I've listed and linked all of the MFT products that I used below (although the links to the new products won't be live until the release.)

My Favorite Things/Pear Blossom Press Collaboration Featuring My Favorite EZ Lights!!

 Hello Friends!

You all know how much I love the Pear Blossom Press EZ-Lights! I use them as often as I can get away with! So when given the chance, I HAD to participate in today's My Favorite Things/Pear Blossom Press Collab Blog Hop! And I knew that I wanted to light up the headlights of the Car Pool Die-Namics and add some of the cute critters from the Better Together Stamp Set, both of which are included in this month's Better Together Card Kit!

And here's what it looks like when I press on that cutie little hedgehog:

I mean, come ON! How stinkin cute is that?! I took a few step out photos to help you see just how easy adding these EZ Lights to your projects really is! My first photo shows the assembly of the focal image die cuts. I assembled the Carpool Die-Namics, and I used a 3/8" hole punch to punch out the headlights. I traced those holes onto the assembled focal background that I created using the On The Road Die-Namics (a kit add-on) and the A2 Circle STAX Die-Namics. I also traced those holes onto the image panel (where I stamped the sentiment from the Better Together Stamp Set) and also punched them out with a 3/8" hole punch. I adhered some yellow vellum (from my stash) behind the headlights so that when the EZ Lights button is pushed, the headlights light up!

In this photo, you can see that I traced the holes onto the card base so that I knew where to place the EZ-Lights. The assembly comes with three lights, but I only needed two, so I taped the third light in the center. I adhered double sided tape to the back of the EZ-Light casing and adhered that to the card base. I placed the battery (included with the EZ Lights sets) inside the slot and away we go!

Here's a close-up of how I attached the EZ-Lights mechanism to my card base! I simply used some double sided tape and some household scotch tape to hold the lights in place - could this be any easier - and IDIOT proof?!!

Please click on through to the MFT Design Blog to be linked to the other amazing projects that some of my fellow teammates and the Pear Blossom Press design team have to share with you! I promise you'll be blown away and will be inspired to try these lights out for yourself! I've listed and linked all of the MFT and Pear Blossom Press products that I used below.

That'll do it for me today, friends! Thanks so much for stopping by today! I'll be back soon with more crafty stuff very soon, but until then, please stay safe and have a great day!
