My Favorite Things - June Vault Release!

Hello everyone!

The time has finally arrived for you to grab all of the amazing Birdie Brown Stamp Sets and coordinating dies that you've been waiting for! I don't know how you all will choose, because they're all so brilliant! And I would imagine that all of the incredible projects that my teammates have been sharing with you all will make it even harder to decide! I pulled out the Mon Cheri Stamp Set and paired it with my favorite EZ-Lights to light up that little street lamp. And I'm so incredibly happy with how it turned out!

I used one of the more recently released Birdie Brown stamp sets for the sentiment - the Sittin' Pretty Stamp Set. I colored the image using my Copic Markers, I ink blended the background using the Oval Extraordinaire Stencil and I used my detail scissors to remove the inside of the lamp area, and adhered some vellum behind the stamp image. I built the EZ-Lights mechanism on the card base, and punched a hole towards the bottom of the lamp so that the light would shine through. Here's a quick video clip to show you how fun it looks all lit up!

My Favorite Things - January Vault Release!

Well hello!

I'm popping in today to share my project for today's Vault Release! I've been a little under the weather so wasn't able to play with all of the new goodies, but I just had to play with the re-released Mini Mail Die-Namics. I paired them with the Friends Like Us Stamp Set (after some serious stamp surgery) and Lots of Hugs Stamp Set.

I created a little "hidden message" slider that slides out of the top of that mini envelope (created by using the Mini Mail Die-Namics. I actually filmed a video of how I created this project, and that'll be available to view on January 24th on the MFTv YouTube Channel! so I don't want to give too much away! But Here's a quick pic of what it looks like when you tug on those strings:

My Favorite Things - October Vault Release!

Hello everyone!

Today's the day, friends! All of the lovely products contained inside the October Vault are available for purchase right this minute! But before you go shopping, please take a minute to check out my project for today, featuring the Dashing Deer Stamp Set and coordinating dies!

I went a little clean and simple with a little bit of country thrown in for good measure! I added some subtle snow drifts using the Drifts & Hill Stencil and some Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink. I added some snow flakes using the Snowfall - Vertical Stencil and some embossing paste. I stamped the sweet deer and bunny images from the Dashing Deer Stamp Set onto some kraft card stock and highlighted some areas with a white pencil and white gel pen. I used the coordinating Dashing Deer Die-Namics to die cut the images, and I adhered them to the panel using some thin foam squares. The buffalo plaid ribbon finishes the design off, adding a touch of back woods Christmas for the win! I've listed and linked all of the MFT products that I used below.

My Favorite Things - August 2020 Vault Release!

 Hello kids!

I'm popping in today to share my project for this month's Vault Release! There are so many fun products being re-introduced, but I just had to play with the Party Like A Pirate Stamp Set and coordinating dies!

I decided to create a pendulum card, which will allow the pirate ship to rock back and forth like it's being rocked by the rough seas!  Here's what it looks like in action:

My Favorite Things - May 2020 Vault Release!

Hello friends!

I'm so excited to be joining my teammates to share projects for today's Vault Release! I hope you're as excited about these treasured goodies returning to the MFT product line again as we are! I loved playing with the Lily Die-Namics, a set of beautiful flowers that can be used for many occasions!

I hadn't had a chance to play with this beautifully dimensional flower die set before it was previously retired, so I was sooo thankful to get the chance to play with it for today's Vault Release! The layers are so lovely and easy to assemble, and incredibly versatile! I die cut the flower parts from Smooth White Card Stock, and then I ink blended them with Razzle Berry, Limelight, Lemon Drop and Black Licorice Premium Dye Inks.  I die cut the focal layer from Black Licorice Card Stock using  Blueprints 33 Die-Namics, and I stamped the sentiment (after doing a bit of stamp surgery) from the Happy Hummingbirds Stamp Set onto the panel using Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink and heat embossed it with white embossing powder.  I die cut the Skinny Strips Vertical Die-Namics from the image panel to add some graphic interest in the background. I adhered everything together with foam squares!  I've listed and linked all of the MFT products that I used below.

My Favorite Things - January Vault Release!

Hello all!

I hope you all have been enjoying all of the amazing inspiration that the team has been providing using the products coming out of the MFT Vault this month! Honestly, these are some of my most favorite products ever!  I had so much fun playing with the Party Animals Stamp Set and the Barn Die-Namics!

I wanted to make this interactive, so I thought it'd be perfect to have the chicken from the Party Animals Stamp Set coming out of the top of the barn!  Check it out!

With a little tug on the pull tab, the chicken holding on to the balloon pops out!  Isn't that so fun?!  I used the Double Slider Loop Slots Die-Namics to lift the chicken up into the air - easy peasy!  I've listed and linked all of the MFT products that I used below.

My Favorite Things - December Vault Release: NEW PRODUCTS AVAILABLE NOW!

Hello my loves!

Yes, it's been a bit quiet around here - life's been a bit crazy!  But I'm popping in today to share a project featuring a couple of the products being brought back out of the "vault" and will be available for purchase TODAY!  This flip flop card features the Martinis On Me Stamp Set from the A La Modes collection!

This is a shot of the card folded.  For a flip flop card, I scored a 5.5" x 8.5", scored and folded at 4.25".  Then I positioned the Martinis On Me Die-Namic in the center of the left side of the card and positioned my plate so that the die was partially cut.  I scored at the top and bottom of the die cut at 2-1/8" and folded the panel so that left edge of the panel met the scored center line.  Then I stamped, colored and die cut the main image from the Martinis On Me Stamp Set and adhered it to the left side of the card with foam squares.  I die cut the word Cheers from some glitter (once) and Black Licorice (three times) card stocks and adhered the layers together with liquid glue.  Then I adhered the layered die cut to the left side of the card, adhering bits of foam tape to the left portion of the die cut to adhere it to the panel.  I adhered some black and white polka dot pattern paper to the right inside of the card base, and then adhered the sentiment to the panel so that it's hidden by the martini die cut.  Here's what it looks like when you open the card:

My Favorite Things - November Vault Release Day! PRODUCTS AVAILABLE NOW!

Hello everyone!

Today's the day for the November Vault Release, and there are some REALLY fun products that have been brought back for your stamping enjoyment!  My project features the A La Modes Cheers Stamp Set and coordinating Die-Namics.  I've paired them with the Wine Tag Die-Namics and the Snowy Hillside Die-Namics, as well as the Cheers Die-Namics to create a super easy holiday hostess gift presentation!

I found that festive insulated wine glass at the Dollar Spot at Target, and was inspired to create a wine bottle tag to go along with it!  Notice how I made that sweet flute holding cutie into Santa's helper by adding fur at the bottom and top of her dress, and adding an inked belt?  I love creating something unexpected with my stamps and dies.  I've listed and linked all of the MFT Products that I used below, for your convenience.

I'm popping in today to share a project that I created using the Comfy Sweater Die-Namics from the October Vault Release!  This sweater die set was one of my faves back in the day when it was first released, so I'm thrilled to little bits to see it come back to the MFT fold!  I paired it today with the Friendly Fox Die-Namics and the Sweater Weather In the Woods Stamp Set!

So there's lots of die cutting going on here in this card!  But to be honest - that just makes me happy!  I used the Fishtail Flag Trio Die-Namics to die cut the sentiment from the Sweater Weather In the Woods Stamp Set, and used the A2 Rectangle Frame Die-Namics to ground the focal image a bit.  I've listed and linked all of the MFT Products that I used below.  And ALL of the October Vault Release Products can be purchased today by clicking on the graphic below!

I'm back again today with another fresh take on some of the September Vault re-released products!!  Today's project features the Sunflower Sweetheart Stamp Set and coordinating dies.  I've created an interactive card using the Double Slider Loop Slots Die-Namics!! Now, if you all know that I rarely design with the Pure Innocence Girls, mostly because my coloring is so mediocre.  But I just loved this talented little painter, so I had to give it a go!  I did a bit of masking, and used the Distressed Patterns Stamp Set to create her little masterpiece!  I've listed and linked all of the MFT products that I used below.
