My Favorite Things - August Card Kit Release: Better Together Project & Video Using the Slimline Starter Die-Namics!

My Favorite Things - July Birthday Project Challenge!!

Hello again!

I'm so happy to be popping in today to share a project inspired by this month's Birthday Project Challenge - which is to elevate our gift card giving game! I was super excited about this challenge, because it gave me an opportunity to create a fun interactive card that includes a fun double surprise!  It features the Frosted Cupcake Die-Namics and the sentiment is from the All the Cupcakes Stamp Set!  Here's what the card looks like before I tug on the pulltab:

How fun is that?! It's a super easy and different way of using the Double Slider Loop mechanism. And I'm happy to report that I filmed a video showing you how I created this card! My Favorite Things - A New Interactive Card & Process Video!

Hello peeps!

I'm popping in on this beautiful Friday morning to let you know that I created a cutie patootie interactive card featuring the Cat-Astrophe Stamp Set, and I filmed a video of my process! I paired it with the Double Slider Loop Slots Die-Namics. I love pairing a familiar interactive mechanism with new product because I can always see something in each  month's release moving in one way or another! When I saw that automatic vacuum in the set, I knew I had to make one of the kitties sit on top of it and scoot around!

My Favorite Things - Another Fun Interactive Card and Process Video!

Hello lovelies!

I'm back again today with my monthly interactive card and process video!  Today's project features the Kissing Booth Stamps and dies from this month's release, and I paired them with two of the images from the Zippy Zebras Stamp Set! And to make it interactive, I jimmy-rigged the Double Slider Loop Slots Die-Namics to create a mechanism that will make two images move towards each other simultaneously!

And this is what happens when I tug on the pull-tab!

My Favorite Things - January Vault Release!

Hello all!

I hope you all have been enjoying all of the amazing inspiration that the team has been providing using the products coming out of the MFT Vault this month! Honestly, these are some of my most favorite products ever!  I had so much fun playing with the Party Animals Stamp Set and the Barn Die-Namics!

I wanted to make this interactive, so I thought it'd be perfect to have the chicken from the Party Animals Stamp Set coming out of the top of the barn!  Check it out!

With a little tug on the pull tab, the chicken holding on to the balloon pops out!  Isn't that so fun?!  I used the Double Slider Loop Slots Die-Namics to lift the chicken up into the air - easy peasy!  I've listed and linked all of the MFT products that I used below.

My Favorite Things - November Birthday Project Challenge!

Hello friends!

This one of my most favorite challenges of all the challenges that MFT has to help inspire your creativity!  And this month's Birthday Challenge is no exception!  This month we're challenged to create a birthday design that includes a shaker or slider element.  For this, I couldn't resist pulling out the new Snow Buddies Stamp Set and coordinating dies.  I used a sentiment from the Ready, Set Snow Stamp Set, which was perfect for my project!

So, you know I had to pull out my fave Double Slider Loop Slots Die-Namics to create a slider element.  And I'm obsessive about hiding as much of the mechanism as I can.  So, I adhered a small magnet to the acetate loop and on the back of the image to move that adorable little dachshund back and forth like he's sliding across the snow bank. Here's what it looks like when I pull the pull tab.

I'm so excited about how this turned out (I was inspired to use the magnet by my teammate, Laura - she's so amazingly clever!) and can't wait to use magnets in some of my future projects!  I've listed and linked all of the MFT Products that I used below.
