My Favorite Things - June Vault Release!

Hello everyone!

The time has finally arrived for you to grab all of the amazing Birdie Brown Stamp Sets and coordinating dies that you've been waiting for! I don't know how you all will choose, because they're all so brilliant! And I would imagine that all of the incredible projects that my teammates have been sharing with you all will make it even harder to decide! I pulled out the Mon Cheri Stamp Set and paired it with my favorite EZ-Lights to light up that little street lamp. And I'm so incredibly happy with how it turned out!

I used one of the more recently released Birdie Brown stamp sets for the sentiment - the Sittin' Pretty Stamp Set. I colored the image using my Copic Markers, I ink blended the background using the Oval Extraordinaire Stencil and I used my detail scissors to remove the inside of the lamp area, and adhered some vellum behind the stamp image. I built the EZ-Lights mechanism on the card base, and punched a hole towards the bottom of the lamp so that the light would shine through. Here's a quick video clip to show you how fun it looks all lit up!

My Favorite Things/Pear Blossom Press Collaboration Featuring My Favorite EZ Lights!!

 Hello Friends!

You all know how much I love the Pear Blossom Press EZ-Lights! I use them as often as I can get away with! So when given the chance, I HAD to participate in today's My Favorite Things/Pear Blossom Press Collab Blog Hop! And I knew that I wanted to light up the headlights of the Car Pool Die-Namics and add some of the cute critters from the Better Together Stamp Set, both of which are included in this month's Better Together Card Kit!

And here's what it looks like when I press on that cutie little hedgehog:

I mean, come ON! How stinkin cute is that?! I took a few step out photos to help you see just how easy adding these EZ Lights to your projects really is! My first photo shows the assembly of the focal image die cuts. I assembled the Carpool Die-Namics, and I used a 3/8" hole punch to punch out the headlights. I traced those holes onto the assembled focal background that I created using the On The Road Die-Namics (a kit add-on) and the A2 Circle STAX Die-Namics. I also traced those holes onto the image panel (where I stamped the sentiment from the Better Together Stamp Set) and also punched them out with a 3/8" hole punch. I adhered some yellow vellum (from my stash) behind the headlights so that when the EZ Lights button is pushed, the headlights light up!

In this photo, you can see that I traced the holes onto the card base so that I knew where to place the EZ-Lights. The assembly comes with three lights, but I only needed two, so I taped the third light in the center. I adhered double sided tape to the back of the EZ-Light casing and adhered that to the card base. I placed the battery (included with the EZ Lights sets) inside the slot and away we go!

Here's a close-up of how I attached the EZ-Lights mechanism to my card base! I simply used some double sided tape and some household scotch tape to hold the lights in place - could this be any easier - and IDIOT proof?!!

My Favorite Things - May Release MFT & Friends - YOU CAN SHOP NOW!

I'm so excited to share another project today featuring more of the amazing products that are available in this month's release!  I loved playing with the Gnome Place Like Home Die-Namics, and it paired so perfectly with the Hanging With My Gnomies Stamp Set! How stinkin' cute is that?!! My Favorite Things - A New Interactive Card and Process Video!

Hello friends!

Yes, it's been a minute since I've posted!  I didn't mention anything before, but hubby and I went on a trip to Thailand to see our youngest daughter and her adorable little family!  The plan was to spend two weeks in Thailand, and another 10 days visiting their world in China (they're there working until early July).  However, fate and the Corona Virus had different plans for us.  A few days after we arrived in Thailand, countries started closing their borders, and airlines cancelled flights. We were disappointed, to say the very least.  Our kids are still in Thailand, awaiting news that it's safe to return to China, and of course we're anxious for their safety.  But it's all in God's hands now, and we're praying that He is protecting our loved ones through this wild adventure of theirs!

Anywho, I'm back! And back to share another interactive card and process video!  I'm doing something a little bit different today - something that I think is going to BLOW your minds because it's SO stinkin' easy but has a huge WOW factor!

This features the new Birthdays Take the Cake Stamp Set and coordinating dies.  And, I know this looks benign enough - almost boring, right?!  But wait!  There's more!  When I push on that little cherry, the candles light up!  Check it out!
