My Favorite Things - October Release: MFT & Friends!

 Hello again!

It's time, girls and boys! The October Release is finally available for purchase! But before you head off to shop, please take a couple of minutes to check out my project that I made for today's link up! It features the new Virtually Best Stamp Set and and the Let's Connect Die-Namics!

So, if I've learned anything during this pandemic, it's that I need to do what's safe for me and for others. I've found new ways to communicate with those I love, so the Virtually the Best Stamp Set is absolutely perfect for reaching out to friends that you miss! I stamped the teacher image onto my panel, masking off the areas that I didn't wanted inked up, and then colored the face using my Copic Markers. Many of the sentiments and images of the Virtually the Best Stamp Set are geared towards praising and encouraging those super star teachers that have been working day and night to teach our kids virtually! But the set can also be used to for an all around "touch the ones you love" without actually touching them! Know what I mean?! LOL I created the computer using the Let's Connect Die-Namics, although I scaled the size of the computer down by doing a partial die-cut to make it smaller. Otherwise, my little friend here would've had like a 70" computer screen! LOL I stamped the word "Hello" onto the speech bubble (from the Let's Connect Die-Namics) using Black Licorice Hybrid Ink (the sentiment was created by doing a bit of stamp surgery on one of the sentiments from the Polar Bear Pals Stamp Set.) The hearts were die cut from Poppy card stock using the Tag Builders Blueprints 5 Die-Namics. I've listed and linked all of the MFT products that I used below!

My Favorite Things - May Release Countdown Day 1 (One Day to Go!)

Hello friends!

I'm getting so excited for tomorrow's release - aren't you, too?!!  I'm back again today with one last May Release Countdown project before the big release!  Today's project features the adorable Main Squeeze Stamp Set and the Main Squeeze Die-Namics. This set is super cute, with several sentiment options, and makes me think of summertime and sunshine!

I used the Straight-Up Rainbow Die-Namics to die cut some strips from Razzle Berry, Tickled Pink, Lemon Drop, Lemon Drop and Limelight Card Stock.  I adhered the strips to the main panel.  I die cut the Trendy Tag Die-Namics from Smooth White card stock and yellow polka dot paper from the Party Patterns 6 x 6 Paper Pack.  I stamped, colored and die cut the lemon image from the Main Squeeze Stamp Set, and adhered it to the assembled tag using foam squares. I added some baker's twine and clear sequins to finish off the details!  I've listed and linked all of the MFT products that I used below (although the links to the May release products won't be live until the release.)

My Favorite Things - March Release Countdown Day 5!!

Hello my loves!

I'm so excited to finally be counting down to the March Release!!  Today's first sneak peeks feature some super fun new products, including the Pumped-Up Alphabet and Numbers Stamp Sets!  As much as I loves me a super easy die cut, I also love solid image stamps because you can do so many fun things with them!  And it's a double whammy bonus that you can stamp out personalized names and unique words and sentiments!  For my first sneak peek project, I used the Pumped-Up Alphabet Stamp Set to stamp out the sentiment for this card using a brilliant Italian greeting!  I paired the stamped balloons with the previously released Zippy Zebras Stamp Set because I knew that scooter riding zebra would be the perfect fit for the custom stamped sentiment!

The Pumped-Up Alphabet Stamp Set includes several balloon strings to use but I decided to draw my balloon strings with a marker so that it looks like the balloons are attached to the zebra's tail!  I've listed and linked all of the MFT Products used in today's project (although the links to the new products won't be live until the the release.)

My Favorite Things - June Release MFT & Friends!

Hello my loves!!

 

The time has finally come for you to get your inky hands on the brand spankin' new June Release products!!  But before you go shopping I hope you'll stick around and check out all of the fun projects for today's post!  My project features the new Tropical Flowers Stamp Set and coordinating dies, and the Well, Hello Stamp Set and the Sweet Hello Die-Namics!  I just love the multi-step flowers that MFT carries, especially because they're so easy to stamp with the Smart Align system that helps you align the different steps!  It makes stamping and die-cutting these images a breeze!

I trimmed a 4" x 5-1/4" Smooth White panel and used a circle die from the Circle STAX Set 1 Die-Namics to cut an aperture.  I stamped some of the flowers and leaves from the Tropical Flowers Stamp Set, and used the coordinating Tropical Flowers Die-Namics to cut them out.  I die cut the Sweet Hello dies from Black Licorice CS and Vellum, and adhered them together with liquid adhesive.  I trimmed a 4-1/4" x 11" card base from Limelight CS, scored it at 5-1/2", folded it in half and perfected the crease with my bone folder.  I positioned the white panel onto the card base so that I could stamp the sentiment from the Well, Hello Stamp Set using Black Licorice Hybrid Ink.  I adhered the white panel to the card base with foam squares, and then arranged and adhered the flowers, leaves and assembled word die cut to the front panel with more foam squares.  I finished it up with my fave Sparkling Clear Sequins for a little bit of bling!!
