Happy Tuesday!! I’m here today to share the project that I created for the color challenge that’s going on over at the ABC Toys & Crafts DT Blog, which is to create a projecting using Red, White and Blue. You don’t have to create a patriotic or Fourth of July project, by the way. But I chose to make one – not sure what I’ll do with it, but it was fun to make!! LOL
The boat image is from the Precious Baby Boy clear stamp set from Hero Arts. All of the images in this set are darling, but I especially love this sweet sail boat. The wave was hand drawn and cut out with my pinking shears, then sewn on my Janome Sew Mini. The circle was created with two Classic Circle Nestabilities and my Cuttlebug. The center circle was then embossed with a Swiss Dots Embossing Folder. The scallop border and sentiment were stickers that coordinate with the DP. I probably should have made this into a baby boy card instead of a Fourth of July card. Oh well . . . maybe I’ll CASE it later!! LOL
STAMPS: Precious Baby Boy (Hero Arts)
INK: Tuxedo Black (Memento)
PAPER: Pure Poppy and Lemon Tart CS (Papertrey Ink), White CS (Neenah), Fourth of July DP (Adorn It!)
ACCESSORIES: Classic Circle Nestabiltiies (Spellbinders), Copic Markers, 3D-Dots (EK Success), Cuttlebug, Janome Sew Mini, Pinking Shears, Coordinating Stickers (Adorn It!)
Wanna play along with us? We’d love it if you would!! And instead of a store credit as the prize this month, Julie’s offering these really fabulous Inkadinkadoo products to the random winner of the challenge. All you have to do is create a Red White and Blue project and then leave a direct link to your completed project on the MR LINKY (located HERE) no later than Saturday, July 3rd at midnight (CST). What are you waiting for? Get your crafty on!! And while you’re there, be sure and check out the other amazing projects that the other ABC Toys & Crafts ladies made to share with you!
Before I leave, I also wanted to let you know about a very generous offer that Julie is running right now. She’s offering 20% off your entire order now through July 4th. OMG!! How nice is that?!!
That’s it for me today. Thanks so much for stopping by – your kind words and the time you spend here are so precious to me. You have no idea how much I appreciate you. Hugs!
