Call Me!

Happy Wednesday Friends!!

Just a quick post today as I’m off to have some fun with my kids and grandson.  It’s the day before they leave, so we’re looking to cram as much fun into their last full day as we can.

Call Me

Thought I’d share a card I made for last week’s CARDS Gallery Challenge, which was to create a shaped card – rectangle or square cards.  So I decided to break out my new birthday Cricut Expression and see what fun I could create.  I found this fun little old school telephone on the Nifty Fifties cart that hubby bought me with my new Expression.  I used some new My Mind’s Eye DP, a little bit of stitching with my Sew Mini, and some fun buttons and ribbon.  Easy peasy!!  Sadly, I never got around to submitting it for the challenge . . . duh!  LOL  But I sure had fun making it, so I thought I’d share it with you all today.

I hope to be back in the next couple of days . . . once I get the beds stripped and remade, and my house decrapified of baby stuff.  In the meantime, thanks so much for stopping by.  Have a great day!

Another fabulous card. Love the buttons for dialing! I have a Sew Mini but have found it a nightmare to use. Everything I stitch ends up unravelling on me. Perhaps this is my sewing ineptness and not the machine but if you have any tips for it I'd love to hear them!

This is the bomb, Karolyn! Fantastic shape and perfectly embellished. I am so jealous of your Circuit!
Hope you had a fun time with the family and made lots of great memories.
