CAS-ual Fridays Challenge #58–Pretty In Pink!

Hola Peeps!!

CAS-ualFridaysNoWords
It’s time once again for another terrific CAS-ual Fridays Challenge!  This week’s challenge is super fun – I think you’re really going to like it.  Your challenge:  Create a CLEAN & SIMPLE project and include pink in your design.  So girlie, right?!
RibbonCarousel.com
Our uber fun and generous sponsor this week is Ribbon Carousel – the purveyor or some of the most delicious ribbon in our little crafting community.  Ribbon Carousel has provided an incredibly generous prize for this week’s TGIF winner, but you’ll have to click on over to the CAS-ual Fridays Challenge Blog to see what it is!  Thank you, Ribbon Carousel!

I loves me some gradient, and I loves me some gradient chevrons EVEN MORE!  I recently received the My Favorite Things Chevron Die-Namics (thank you so much, Kim!!) and I immediately put them to work for this week’s challenge card.  I used the larger of the two dies to cut out the chevron in four different pinks.  I cut a heart out with my A Muse Heart Trio die, and adhered the chevrons to the card base with foam tape.  The sentiment is from a FREE stamp set that I got from My Favorite Things when I placed my order!!  Are you kidding me?  FREE STAMPS?!!  SWOON!!
PRODUCTS USED:
STAMPS:  Clearly Sentiment About Art (My Favorite Things)
INK:  Black Dye (Memories/Hero Arts)
PAPER:  Berry Blush, Piglet, Passionate, Berrylicious and Lily White CS (Bazzill Basics Paper)
OTHER:  Chevron Die-Namics (My Favorite Things), Heart Trio Die (A Muse Studio)

Well, kids, that’s it for me today.  Hubby and I are babysitting our grandsons this weekend to give my daughter and son-in-law a break – sleep deprivation is beginning to wear on them, so they really need to reconnect and rejuvenate.  Gamma and Gampa are THRILLED for the chance to spend a little one-on-one time with our little bugs.  What lovely plans do you have for the weekend?  I hope something fun!  Thank you so much for stopping in today.  Before you go, be sure to click on through to the CAS-ual Fridays Challenge Blog to see what the other Girl Fridays have cooked up for your viewing pleasure and inspiration.
