CAS-ual Fridays Challenge #59–Round & Round!

Happy Friday, Crafty Peeps!

Can you believe that this is the last challenge for June?!!  Like, where the HECK did June go?!!  And I know many of you are enduring miserably hot weather (I’m praying for those in Colorado who are in danger of the fires), but I’d give my left big toe for some sunshine around here in the Pacific Northwest!!  Or better yet, I’d HAPPILY share the unending amount of rain that we’ve endured since we got back from AZ with those that are suffering from the heat.  Seriously, people!!
CAS-ualFridaysNoWords
Okay, enough whining already!!  Let’s move onto the fun reason you came by today!  This week’s CAS-ual Fridays Challenge is to:  Create a CLEAN & SIMPLE project and include TWO (and ONLY two) circles in your design.  If you create a round shaped card, that counts as one of your circles!!
The Twinery Graphic
We have an outstanding sponsor for this week’s challenge!  The Twinery is the proprietor of some of the most amazing baker’s twine in our crafting community!  The colors are dreamy, and the quality is second to none!  The Twinery has provided the Girl Fridays with some delicious twine to work with for our projects this week, and they’ve very generously provided a fabulous prize for this week’s TGIF Winner.  But you’ll have to click on over to the CAS-ual Fridays Challenge Blog to see what it is.  Thank you, The Twinery!!

CFC59 - Wishing You A Day Full of Sunshine

I love baker’s twine . . . in fact, I have a “friend” who tells me to “step AWAY from the baker’s twine!”  LOL  So, this challenge just made me happy!!  I’m also a huge fan of the latest sun rays trend . . . so fun, right?!!  I die cut a circle out of my image panel with a circle die.  I wrapped the two colors of baker’s twine through the circle and around the outside of the image panel (I adhered some double sided sticky strip to the back to keep the baker’s twine in place as I wrapped it) to create the sunrays.  I die cut another circle out of yellow cardstock and adhered it to the inside of the main circle with foam tape.  Easy peasy, and such a fun effect, don’t you think?
