MFT New Product Tour

Well hello!!

Have you been drooling over all of the projects being shared by the My Favorite Things design team for this month’s new release?  I mean, those MFT girls rock my world with their talent and creativity!!

Well, tonight’s the night that all that fabulous product is available in the My Favorite Things store!!  You can find it all in the Brand Spankin’ New category of the MFT website – just click HERE.

I’d love to share some of the projects that I made with the new release products.  I thought it’d be fun to create a Halloween Party ensemble.  How fun would it be to add some sweet details to your Halloween party?  So let’s get to the details, shall we?

MFT Halloween Party Ensemble Invitation (Click on photo to enlarge.)

First up, I created an invitation for the party.  As a preface to this, my daughter and I just finished creating her wedding invitations – they went in the mail on Saturday.  So, I speak from experience when I tell you that SIMPLICITY is paramount when mass producing invitations!  But the details are important, too – you want your guests to know that you’re excited to have them over, and the details really are key to them knowing that.  I used the Paper Bag Peek-A-Boos to create the spider web and spider die cuts on the front of the invitation.  The sentiment is from the new You’re Invited stamp set – a MUST HAVE stamp set for all those party invites in your future!  Notice the personalized envelope?  I was able to stamp my guest’s name (it just happens to be my adorable grandson – Winking smile) using the new Cooper Alphabet stamp set designed by Laina Lamb – it’s SUPER fun to work with!  This set will most definitely be getting a work out for future party invites and details at my house.  It’s also featured in the “Happy Halloween” banner that I created for this party ensemble (close up photo below).  I stamped the chevron border on the envelope using some of the MFT inks (love, love, love these inks!!) and a stamp from the Washi Patterns set.

Here’s what the inside of the invitation looks like.  I’m telling you that the You’re Invited stamp set includes every detail for the perfect customized invitation.

I created some darling little party favors with the new Paper Bag Treat Box Die-Namic and the Paper Bag Peek-A-Boos Die-Namics – the MFT Die-Namics are second to none in both innovation and design ease.  It would be a breeze to create several of these adorable party favors and fill them with some delicious goodies for your guests.  I repurposed some Frappacino bottles and added a fun little decorative band using the Rosette Die-Namic, as well as that cute spider from the Paper Bag Peek-A-Boos Die-Namics.

Here’s another party favor and drink bottle that I created.  I used the pumpkin face and spider dies from the Paper Bag Peek-A-Boos Die-Namics.  That sweet ghost is from the Halloween Charms Die-Namics.  Again, these are super easy to assemble and add festive details to your party!

Here’s one last look at the details of the ensemble that I created using some of the newly released products.  The banner was created using the Rounded Banner Stax Die-Namics and some Halloween themed papers, as well as the Cooper Alphabet.  The scalloped border is from the Jumbo Banner Day Stax Die-Namics.  Both are must-haves for anyone creating details for a party or event!

I’ve listed all of the products I used below, but you can find ALL of the new releases HERE.

Well, friends, that’s it for me today.  I know you’re going to love each and every one of the new products being released tonight – if you create a party ensemble with some of these new goodies, I’d LOVE to see photos!!  Thanks so much for stopping by today – I hope you enjoyed seeing my party ensemble as much as I enjoyed creating it!  Happy shopping!!
