AEI♥U Challenge #1–Birthday!
Hello Peeps!!
Oh my goodness!! I’m so excited to be here today to share the first AEI♥U Challenge with our new Challenge Team! You’re going to love this challenge, and these amazing ladies that I get to create with! So let’s get to it, shall we?
The first challenge theme is Birthday! Here’s my answer to the challenge:
I wanted to create a fun and happy birthday card that could be used for anyone – girl or boy! Confetti is pretty universal, so I grabbed a stencil that I have (links provided below) that has scattered stars, and I moved it around on my card face to create the look of falling star confetti. I used three of the brand new Avery Elle ink pads – Mimosa, Raspberry and Sea Glass. This ink is dreamy, and it worked with the stencil beautifully!! I just dabbed a bit onto a sponge dauber and then pounced in onto the open areas of the stencil. The lines were clean and crisp, and the colors super vibrant! The sentiment is from the new stamp set called Cake & Candles – a set full of amazing birthday sentiments and one I will be pulling out often!!
We’d love for you to play along with us. You can find all of the details of the challenge at the AEI♥U Challenge blog. You’ll find the rules of the challenge, as well as the InLinkz link up tool for you to add your project for the challenge. Not only that, but you’ll find more incredible inspiration from my sweet teamies – you’ll be blown away, I promise!! The winner will receive an Avery Elle stamp set of their choice! So what are waiting for – get going!!
Thanks so much for popping in today! I’ve got a super busy weekend ahead that I’m really looking forward to. Hoping that you have some fun crafty plans in your future!!
