Hello Sweet Friends!!
It’s time for the next Avery Elle Challenge, and it’s a doozie!!
Get those unloved embellishments out of your drawers and cupboards and embellish the bajeebers out of your project – we’re talking sequins, pearls, gems, ribbon, flowers, baker’s twine, wood veneers, enamel dots, chipboard – anything that you think would “embellish” your card qualifies!
I created myself a little shaker card using green and yellow sequins. This project features some sweet little “buttercups” from the Oh Happy Day stamp set. The sentiment was created by die cutting the Simply Said: Hello die and stamping one of the coordinating words from the Simply Said: Hello stamp set. I’ve listed the products I used below.
So how about it? What will you use to embellish your card? I can’t hardly wait to see! Please click on through to the Avery Elle Challenge Blog to get all of the details of the challenge, as well as to drool over the amazing projects that my sweet teammates have created for your viewing pleasure!
Thanks for stopping in today! I’m headed to lunch with my girlie, and cropping all day tomorrow and Sunday with some sweet peeps. Heaven on earth, I tell ya! Hope you have some fabulous plans for your weekend!!

Dude! You stamped your own DP?!!! Amaze-balls! (<--- that's your word) And you used like a whole package of sequins in that!! AWESOME!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE this card! Everything about it!
Just love your idea for the diecut hello with sequins! I know I'll be borrowing it really soon - thanks! Love this happy card!
Such a happy 'hello' card! Love, love, love the yellow buttercups! Very cool to use negative space as the 'shaker' part of the card. Really wonderful card. Bev
