Avery Elle–Noel!

Hello sweet friends!!

Sadly, it continues to be pretty quiet here on my blog.  My little love bug is still in the NICU – gaining weight and doing great besides the fact that she’s having a hard time staying awake long enough to finish a feeding.  Some feedings, she sleeps right through.  Thankfully, she has some amazing nurses and doctors taking wonderful care of her, and we’re hopeful that as she continues to grow and gain weight, that she’ll become more wakeful, especially as her original due date approaches.  If you’re the praying sort, please add her and her parents to your list.  They’re ready to be home – soon!

In the meantime, I had a bit of time to get inky this week, and wanted to share another Avery Elle project that I created for the Fall 2014 release!  This one features the new stamp set called Noel.  I adore this stamp set, and it’s coordinating snowflake dies – it’s so sweet and traditional.  I stamped the three snowflakes off the edge of a Pure White tag that I die cut using the Gift Tag Elle-Ments.  I die cut a second tag out of some holiday patterned paper.  I heat embossed each snowflake, and adhered pearls to the centers.  I stamped the sentiment onto an Aquamarine panel and heat embossed it with white embossing powder.  I assembled the card with foam tape, threaded some baker’s twine through the top of the tags, and tied a red satin ribbon at the top!
