Avery Elle Design Team–Stay Fresh!

Hello stampy friends!!

I hope you’re staying cool!!! We’re having a bit of a heat wave here in Seattle, so I’m a little cranky.  LOL  I don’t tolerate the heat well at all.  I’m sure it’ll cool off soon – probably just in time for Fourth of July!!  LOL

6-26-15 Stay Fresh

I’m popping in today to share another project that I created for the newest Avery Elle stamp and die release!  This project features the uber trendy Stay Fresh!!  Pineapples are everywhere these days – and I have to say I’m really loving it!!  I decided to make my project a little more classic.  With gold also being super trendy right now, I made this clean and simple – that’s my fave!  Here’s how I created it:

  1. Use an A2 top-folding Sapphire note card for your card base.
  2. Using the largest of the Pierced Rectangle Elle-Ments, pierce the outside edge of the card base.
  3. Stamp the pineapple image from Stay Fresh with VersaMark and heat emboss with gold embossing powder.
  4. Using the Stay Fresh Elle-Ments, die cut the Aloha sentiment from Sapphire Cardstock.  Ink it up with VersaMark and heat emboss it with gold embossing powder.  Adhere the sentiment to the card base with foam squares.

That’s IT!!  I don’t think that could be any easier, and I seriously think it’s classic enough to be appropriate for girls or boys – don’t you?!  Please click on through to the Avery Elle Design Team Blog to see some additional inspiration for today.  I’ve listed the products that I used below.

That’s it for me today, friends.  I’ll be doing my  best to stay cool all weekend as it’s supposed to get into the 90’s!  Thankfully I was able to snag one of the last Portable Air Conditioning Units at Costco yesterday, so I’ll be sitting in front of that, for sure!!  LOL  I hope you stay cool and have a great weekend!!  Thanks so much for stopping by!

Love all the blue 'white space'! It is hot as ever here as well with not a drop of rain for the past two weeks! Getting pretty darn cranky as well!
